Question,

what should my stats look like as a AS ranger?

current stats are
101 agi
35 int
99 dex

That's all i'm only level 102

Those stats look pretty good. You might not need more DEX until you're a higher level if you get the White Wing set since you'll be able to one-hit most monsters up to about level 120-ish, probably. My ranger is going for a jack-of-all-trades build, so you might want to take my advice with a grain of salt, but I recommend getting some VIT (maybe about 30-50ish) for more survivability when mobbing. My ranger almost always ends up going down the same time the mob does because he's squishy. :I

haha alright I am aiming for
120 dex
60 int
80 agi
rest vit

Reason being, fast AS cast/some sp to mess around with/agi will give me some dodge chance, although my phen card covers it/vit simply because my hunter card doesn't always proc

Lower the dex 120 dex just aint worth it at all, at MOST go for 110 dex but 100 is enough the points you will use just aint worth the little extra dmg output.

Arrow storm doesn't require agi at all so I would aim for 120 dex, 120 vit, 80 int for pure party play. Pure AS means no compromises.

It's true AS doesn't need AGI, but at the same time, I think it might be a good idea to keep your options open in case you have to solo? I'm aiming for 100 DEX/AGI/VIT myself so I have the option to not only use arrow storm in parties but I can also ctrl+click with my warg pretty effectively when I'm feeling lazy. xD

I don't play a ranger but I would think some LUK would help AS as well since LUK gives ATK, even for bows. Getting 20-30 LUK or so should be pretty cheap to do so I would probably get at least 20 LUK or so.

first pump dex and int to 100 then vit to 100 and last agi

120 Dex it makes a lot of difference weather you 1 shot stuff or leave some to come scrambling at you. you cant go wrong with 120 dex for arrow storm.

RESET RESET RESET!!! Reset AGI to 1 if you want pure AS build, believe me you will be loved by everyone during TI's.

Reset to

100 Dex
100 Int
50 vit (pump till 100)

Then in the end agi 100. It's better to have 4 stats at 100 then 1 at 120. You will not need agi for AS build believe me, you will have flee rate of a poring but you will be killing like at mad speed.

AS Build is an one shot kill

AGI is too high. Prioritize 120 DEX and 100 VIT first, put about 50-75 INT, and the rest on AGI. Trust me this build works better than those silly 100 AGI hybrid ones. They don't survive long and don't produce enough damage output.

AGI is just to decrease animation speed for AS otherwise it's pretty much useless

I still wouldn't waste 100 points of Agi on it..... Arrow Storm isn't spammable even on strings in the first place.

How do you decrease the cooldown of as skill? I mean once I cast it I have to wait like 2 secs to cast it again

Kiel Card is another way... but still it's all about the cast time and the damage of AS and how long you survive.

If you can't instant cast Arrow Storm on Magic Strings and can't do over 25k on people with full reducts in PvP, you have a fail Arrow Storm build.

My version is...

DEX - High
INT - High
VIT - Mid to High

AGI - Low to Mid
LUK - Low to Mid
STR - Low

The reason is I think that those can help and able to maximize the use of Landmine, Claymore, and or Blast Mine as a sniper when soloing.

All traps rely on Dex for damage. INT is just a small portion.

Not sure what you mean when you said STR - Low. STR should not be higher than 1 for a Ranger. You're wasting points if you're using STR just for weights... Use Gym Passes.

Forgot to be specific on STR, I only have 1 in there and no plans on putting stat points into STR.

Well i found the 120 Dex 100 Int 100 Vit build very very useless. My Aspd build did way more dmg with AS then My "Pure AS" Build. The Reason being the Atk luk gives, so its good to get a somewhat balance with Dex and Luk for Pure AS. Agi doesn't mattter at all but i find it useful on maps with small amounts of demons or bugs since they knock you out of camo easily without any dodge. Sp shouldn't be a problem at 70-80 Int especially if you wear arcangeling carded headgear with more then 77 Luk.
An AS Build will defit want Int,Vit,Luk and Dex.

You get like around 25 atk with that amount of luck? lol That's like a Hillslion card. Not exactly significant. You get more damage from maxing Dex..... What bow are you using? If you put Big Crossbow to the equation, that's where you'll see the huge difference between Agi Rangers and pure AS builds.

I keep hearing about big cross bows but I cant find it anywhere. Is there a link to it for stats or where it drops? And what does hidden slots mean?

Cecil Damon > Somatology Lab Level 3. Less than 1% drop. The weapon doesn't show any slot but when a card is used, it will give Big Crossbow as an option. It has 2 slots.
