Hello all! Playing my first toon! When vending, I just want to make sure I'm not supposed to see my own "chat bubble." Only, it didn't pop up when I opened the shop (just the shop window). I just figured everyone else could see it.

Yes, that is correct. You don't see your own shop "bubble", just your shop window.
