Hi all,

I want to tame drops as my pet. It says I need orange juice? But how do I get it?

I've done the juice quest already but I can only make banana apple grape and carrot juice?

I know Drops have a 0.02% of dropping it, but is there another way? I also know you can buy it but it's $10k! And it's not really sold on my server (ygg).

Can I please get some help? Thanks so much guys.

You only can obtain Orange Juice from Drops only. There's no other way to get it other than hunting Drops or buy it from another player

There is a quest to get taming items in Amatsu I believe, but you need to be able to kill 10 dokebis, I think. I'm not entirely sure. 10k zebu shouldn't be too difficult if you do the gramps TI's and sell the loot you pick up.

at the time that the Juice quest was put in, Oranges didnt exists back then.

thats why you can't make orange juice.

the Amatsu quest is pretty simple you talk to the publisher in the east side of amatsu you get teleported to a waiting room and start the event there are like 10 dokebi once you kill them all

you get the option to : Leave and get a low grade tame (poring/drops/lunatic/picky/etc.. tames)

or say something along the lines of "That was too easy" and stay for the second round

where you face 4 Am Muts (each Am Mut has 2 dokebi's that follow it)

if you beat that round you get a chance at a high grade tame (zealatus, bapho jr, deviruchi, dokebi, etc... but its more random you can even get low grade tame =/ )

That or they knew the fact that every player would be able to tame 5million Drops each.

OMG, logic doesn't exist in RO. Orange juice is suppose to be this uber rare item that you can't make with your bare hands.

Thanks everyone! I'll go and do the dokebi quest. I'm sure kill them would not be hard for me. But is the quest repeatable?

But is the taming success rate very low? Like would I need to prepare lots and lots of orange juice?

Ultimate: can pets be transferred? I mean, I just want to try it it first (cause drops aren't too expensive to feed). I don't have a lot of zeny. What's you're character name in the ygg server?

yup you can pm me on Ultimate but I'm not always on. Pets can easily be transferred and indeed drops are very easy to tame. Get him to 1 hp and it's almost perfect...some will deny this.

this is not POKEMON! that ideia dont work iam pretty sure of that, i remeber when ppl even try to put the mob sleep or frozen to increase chance and that just doesnt work.

my AB is my tamer..

ungoliant sunnies + Skogul armor =anything that touches me gets bleed
after a few seconds anything attacking is down to 1hp

sucks on mobs that heal themselves.. but thats what lex divina is for

I've tamed over 500+ monsters for myself and for other people and I can vouch that lowering monster's HP helps slightly in capturing them. Just about 2-3 week ago, using 30 Unripe apples, I captured:

12 Porings with lowered HP
5 Porings with full HP
9 failures with full HP
4 failures with lowered HP

I've tamed over 500+ monsters for myself and for other people and I can vouch that lowering monster's HP helps slightly in capturing them. Just about 2-3 week ago, using 30 Unripe apples, I captured:

12 Porings with lowered HP
5 Porings with full HP
9 failures with full HP
4 failures with lowered HP

can I ask how you get so many unripe apple? Did you do dokobi quest our you simply bought them from other players?

if he tames for other people it could be a pool of tames like from a guild

If you're an old player, you also just amass items.

In my storage. I had 40 unripe apples, 30 orange juice, 20 rainbow carrots, 10 knife of chasitys, 60 book of devils, 7 her hearts, 13 no recpeients, you get the idea.

and i never once have bought those tame items from other players.

Player since 2-2 class comodo patch.

And consdiering all the low tier pets actually drop their own tame item, its not un-heard of to actually get alot.

Especially back then when you actually had to level novices and stay as a 1st class for a while with how high the exp needed to level up was.

I've done the dokebi quest and got the old bloom. guess that's a good thing cause i'm a wl. But one is obviously not enough to successfully tame a monster!

How then?

like with the green maiden tame i had... i was like.. ok i know this isn't going to workl.. but i still tried and i was completely shocked when it worked 30m bam!

Hi ultimate, which country are you from? And when are you likely to be on your local time? It seems so much trouble to get a pet, after all, I just want to try having a pet first before getting one that I really want, (probably dokeibi). Do you think You can track down a drops for me? But how much? Zeny will be an issue for me. Haha

Meanwhile I think I better collect more of old broom for my dokebi!
