Yeah, I don't think i'm going to be able to do battle grounds exactly with how the community is on Ymir... pree dead...

So what can I use as an alt? I really have no idea.. I need it for later leveling

You can settle for a Bloody Battle Hook (Hydra Card). It's a good alternative to a Glorious Spear or Brocca.

Are you playing RG or RK?

Battle hook is probably your best bet as wade (jaliboy, I know him as wade though >__>) mentioned.

Imperial might do a bit more dmg or around the same as battle hook for an RG... might have to test it out. Might seem like a waste putting a hydra card in one, though I'm not sure about your server's pricing.

Hunting spear is not bad too for some skills. But yeah, need to know if you're playing RG or RK and what build / skills you're mainly using.

I believe he was talking about the Imperial Spear that would be wasted, not the Hydra.

Yup, precisely. Imperial Spears are not that cheap on valk but hydra cards are spare change... so it seems kind of like a waste.

You can exchange eden merit badges for battlegrounds medals. Id go with assaulter spear?

A high upgraded brocca does pretty good damage. I would go with that.

Seal Quests also give KVM Badges, though I don't know how often they roll on Ymir. Valk Seals were rolling quite a bit a few months ago, but they've been closed for about three weeks now. @@

I'd go with the Battle Hook for now, though. You could also go for a more support-oriented build until you get a Glorious or Bellum.
