Killed Amon, picked up the loot, went to walk away and... Died.

Don't suppose anyone knows what this might have been? First thought is that Meteor Storm might still be going on but 'invisible' after he dies. There wasn't a Fire Pillar, so...

Dark Illusions/(maybe Dark Lord too?) do this too. Their hits cannot be seen, but they keep hitting you for a bit after they die.

50 anopholes spawn after he dies and they dissapear after 1 collective hit. Its a loctus plague skill.

That's extra strange considering that as a general rule, all persistent damaging abilities become completely ineffective after the caster is dead. Delay hits are possible, but probably not if you were able to pick up all the loot first

A few things in the game do this. I was walking around aimlessly one day and died. No clue what even killed me. Nothing on my screen even.

I know Waterball can do this, it continues even after the monster dies.

Also, this just happened again. @@ My Incubus is not liking me fighting Amon Ra's ghost.

Waterball delivers a cluster of hits per click (on a Wizard), that's why some hits may be delayed. The longer you are being waterballed, the longer the post damage hit will be even after the MVP is dead.

Like waterball, the animation stops when he dies, but the damage continues.

It happened to me a few times, so I started using fire armor and all was good.

During the april fools orc summoning in pront, I remember a sura in MS picking up loot for a good 10 seconds before the hits of all the (dead) orc ladies registered (at which point he died).

Stop defaulting a Bryn and start wearing a fire armor, Ralis. See if the same problem persists after trying this.

Not wearing Fire Armor, not using a Shield... Usually I don't die to his normal attacks, hence why I'm wondering how his Meteor Storm after-death seems to do more damage. >_>

Well amon ra has a very low attack speed and his skills are triggered at ASPD. So, it's possible that it's lagging behind. I'd imagien the chances of it inflicted dark blessing at the point it dies where it'll lag and it then killing you with an after hit of MS would be quite low.

But feasible.

The lesson? Use that one skill that dodges magic and that other skill that blocks physical hits.
