Weren't the Spotlight area's and their monsters supposed to have increased Experience along with their drops?

I thought this was how the Amatsu messed up exp started.

Was really hoping todo DWolfs and HWinds for better exp instead of having to go down to lvl Amatsu Dungeon as it's giving me better exp at 98 than even Magmarings believe it or not.

Nope. Only item drops and equipment drops got boosted. Exp aren't boosted which is too bad =|

Inubashiri said that unlike the other Areas, Rachel is actually somewhat modern. So only the old areas got exp boosted. Basically, with any more future spotlights, we probably won't see any more exp boost since we've already got almost all the old areas now.

The only old area I can think of that would warrent a exp boost would be Louyang.

I hear that, I love bringing my 90+ chars to Amatsu dungeon for some Tengu/Shinobi killing.

Card drops are (I won't say greatly because we are talking about cards here) significantly increased for these monsters, if that is an incentive for you.

the exp rates in areas got adjusted with renewal so I am not sure what the "modernness" of rachel has to do with anything, its not balanced exp-wise any differently than amatsu etc. DERP.

The only card I can think of off hand that I want from this would be Hodremlin.

Not really any other cards worth the effort here.

Although getting a couple more Durga from DWolfs may be good.

Desert Wolf is not effected by Rachel Spotlight as they are a Payon/Morroc monster.

Rachel is a higher level area compared to the old town... By modern if you have noticed rachel targets level 90+ chars. Going to guess thats what they meant by modern. and Newer dungeon meant higher levels means people actually go there! the other "older" areas are more likely to fall by the wayside and get ignored without the spotlights telling people... this town does in fact exist.

After rereading what i said it comes across to me as condescending >< sorry but no idea how to reword it otherwise. But your second statement came across as very rude as well.

Ok wrong here, this was just a conjecture by a few people until oda got back with the list. desert wolf is getting the boost.. quote from Oda in main thread (maintenance thread page 8 http://forums.warppo...n/page__st__175). Not all monsters were listed more as the list just became too long.

I usually put monsters that are more unique to that area on the spotlight page, focusing primarily on ones found in the dungeons-and the page was getting long as it was. The spotlight page isn't intended to be totally comprehensive, more of a "hey this is what this area is about" page.

All these monsters have slightly increased card drop rates, and increased rates of certain weapons/armor/useful items dropping
