Edit: Honestly, I don't think anybody could take you seriously. These "strong" guilds aren't planned. They, let's say, just happen.

Let's say that you have like 50/50 chance of ending up with a very good (OP'ed) guild or ending up with a guild like the one I'm in; casual pedos in a game for kids
Honestly, I prefer to have fun than be in a PvP-oriented guild (even though I PvP alot [not that much, no BSQ for me #10])

Honestly, I never expected Finale to get to the point it has. It just like happened? if that makes any sense.
The only guild i can think of that started out from the get go to be a power house was Asc just because the gear requirements. Then again I'm not to familiar with pre -WP guild requirements/Guilds.

Can i suggest a stupid and nonsense mix of names of those OLD guilds? Maybe Rebelpire, Finallion, Empile, Fireem, Refiem, Emrefi, Rebenale, Empion, etc.
