there are actually plenty of 'Hidden" mechanics in the game that the status window NEVER shows. This isn't new.
Just know that Katars will always double your crit rate. Your window will never show it.
For example, your status window will never tell you when you become immune to status effects like Stun or Silence, thats something you just need to "Know".
