Ok I just checked this out yesterday and it seems kind of cool.

The real question I have though is WHY IS IT VIP ONLY?

also since it is VIP only why didn't they just put it in Overlook?!

What was the point in putting a VIP only dungeon in the normal all purpose dungeon area?

the map is for lvls 100-110 or 120 i think? Instead of bylan6, you can level easily at jusperos/raydrics/nogg with those lvls..
In addition, kraken is basically for vip only lol.. how sad

LOL. Put it in overlook? Are you crazy? I mean the rough idea sounds good, but overlook has a level CAP on it. levels 30-75. you hit level 76 you aren't going back in. The levels of Bylan level 6 is like 110-124. Bylan level 6 Did not exist when bylan was first created. Heh truth is first time I heard of it was when I rejoined as even most pservers do not have it? Not that i'll bother with them anymore since iRO now has F2P servers. Bylan level 6 is just a higher level area that has a water theme so they attached it to the underwater dungeon. Seemed batter then just making it a random standalone map. You can't teleport to it from VIP services so they make you walk there to.

Use reset stone to get 3 day vip. You can now access overlook, orc village, and new byblan dungeon. Reset stones only 3 mil each (or maybe less, Valk server) which is not super expensive.

Trust me, you're not missing anything. The dungeon really isn't any good.

Actually I do have VIP so was able to go down.

Was just wondering why they put the VIP lvl in the "open" dungeon.

Lvl cap wouldn't matter if that Overlook Sign Board warp'd you right down to level 6. Perhaps it could only do it if you had done the lvl 1-5 quests or something. That would have made a lot more sense then creating a VIP only dungeon lvl.

Don't think you should have to pay 3m or 8 Eden Merrit Badges for a 3 day access to a dungeon lol.

agreed. the monsters there, compared to monsters of the same level, have higher hp and give lower exp (except maybe king kray). the only reason you'd really go down there is to hunt the kraken.

edit: they put it in the regular dungeon because they want people to get some more exercise! in-game, at least..........and also so regular non-vip people will see it and get jealous and pay for vip. that's the real plan.

Except that would warp you to the lower levels of a regular dungeon. be a shortcut to bylan level 5 if they did that.

Byalan 6 seems interesting, but definitely not something that would convince someone without VIP to get VIP. Which is why I don't understand they made it a VIP thing only. If it was a VIP instance to have a solo guaranteed fight with the Kraken, then maybe it'd make more sense.

Maybe having a turn in with the map and the monsters could get more people interested. Not that anyone goes to a regular map anymore after level 70... they'd just use turn in maps all the way to 150.

I love that Dungeon, really I do.
But the way is waaayyy to long to go (I dont like to use Teleport Scrolls!) and the Monsters - while they do give good exp in my mind - dont drop anything that is much of a worth.

However, I would like to go there more frequently if there is like a VIP Warp (Hi VIP Warper @ Eden ) and the Monsters would drop their cards.

They really should've just made an entrance quest to get in to Byalan Level 6. And not an entrance quest that is super pointless like the Turtle Dungeon Quest, and not one where you have to travel cross country searching for items. How about you just talk to the guard and he tells you to go to Brasilis and hunt monsters and items. Let's say 50 piranha, and 40 iaras, and hunt 20 sharp scales and 15 heart of mermaid? And why not add a level requirement of 99?

I find it odd that High Orc Field turned into VIP.

What is so special in byalan6? Kraken is not even worth killing on a regular basis.. Maybe when the mobs there start dropping cards, but they don't.
