What if someone has the same IGN as you on the other server? what happens then? you get a ugly _L on your name?

What about my names?
All characters on Valdes and Lintra will receive a name change. When logging in after the completed merger you will find all of your characters names RED. When you first log-in you will be prompted to change your name.

yes this can happen
i would more suggest only reset the names who are double on the 2 servers to prevent this

... disband a few guilds and make the new version of Affin. Min lvl 77+
Sort your egos out and you would rock.

You guys will by far have the most powerfull guilds. (yes more than likely currently allready are)

Oh and more 70 set bits mb. lol did Lintra raid for that S1?

if the nicks are deleted and the first login become the nick...that could be a problem with the friendlist or

So if u have 8 chars full on Valdes, and a few in Lintra...and u dont want to delete one (or more) there is no chance to safe them all?
Dont know but isnt it possible to create maybe a new account on valdes for the chars from lintra or anything else. or everyone can decide on his own if his chars go to his valdes acc or into a new acc....to prevent that some chars are somewhere in the databank till there u can have more then 8 char....or be frustrated and kill a few.

Maybe if the limit is exceeded, the player should be able to send a ticket asking for a reorganization of their game account. For this they maybe need to have at least 2 game accounts added to the wp account and put all the info of both accounts in the ticket and tell wich character will go in wich account: after all, people maybe want to have their main chars in one account to get premium and stuffs like that.

Agree with that, nobody want their names stolen just because someone else was able to login first after the merge.

Not possible unfortunately, without causing several more hours of time by both the GM Team, tech team and player. This would lead to a very extended maintenance, we are talking a couple days and that just isn't worth on our end or to the community as a whole to extended maintenance for a handful of accounts who do not want to delete characters.

Yeah no, name sniping is something we do not want to happen. So don't do it or you will have your name change and account suspend temporarily.

One solution log in to the character select, click Print Screen, open up MS Paint, press ctrl+V and save this image. If any off your names are taken write into the GM Team, all disputes over name will go to the oldest character creation.

I never got a straight answer to this so Imma ask again. Are gender changes possible? I dont mean necessarily for the merge, but in general as cs item. The look of your char gets boring after some time + you might wanna change to another name but it doesnt fit the gender of your toon.
