-You are allowed to use iRO in-game contents, music, and art assets for this contest

You can use iRO content (though I would be leery of using music that isn't CC licensed/Royalty free, etc.) without having to worry about the legal issues from our end.this means you can not use any non iro related stuff in the videos at all or that you can use iro content if you wish? , even though you would think
that would be obvious.

We're working on getting a FTP set up where people can submit their videos. We'd love to see in-progress vids uploaded to youtube as well. How should entries be submitted anyway? @_@ File download hosted somewhere? Uploaded to youtube? Posted somewhere? PMed?
So a few questions!
1) Does the video absolutely have to be 5 minutes long?
2) What if we make a mini series, and each part is 5 minutes long. Would that count as multiple submissions, or is it not allowed? I'd rather make a combined video (for a single submission) instead of separating it into a series due to the 5 minute limit.
3) Are we allowed multiple submissions?

Hmm... what about the RO2 soundtrack(s)?You can use iRO content (though I would be leery of using music that isn't CC licensed/Royalty free, etc.) without having to worry about the legal issues from our end.

Too short for the deadline, and no one has posted an entry yet ._.

I kind of wish there was more time (fps is gonna suuuuck), but probably too long and people would just forget about it. I have a feeling animation will be in the minority anyway...

Uhhh, the deadline is July 8th, which is over a month from now. Maybe you misread it as June 8th.

-Video resolution must be 720p or better, 16-9 aspect ratio.

Just a question.
Is it a must? I have a laggy computer and can barely process a 720p video. Is it ok if I can submit a standard definition video?

Well, that was fast.
Can't ask someone to render your vid?

I think exceptions can be made if that's what makes the difference between having something and not having something at the festival.Doing an animation with my current resources is easier on an SD video. And also, there is that time constraint. 1 month is too short considering that I am very busy with my existence (not life).
