Yggdrassil will be closing to open as a pre-renewal server!

We will have details on the pre-renewal launch coming up soon, but for today we are adding a NPC to the Eden Group that will allow Yggdrassil players to vote to be moved to Ymir or Valkyrie when the merger happens. Players who do not vote will be automatically merged onto Valkyrie when the merger occurs on June 26th.
**Extra clarification, your vote is for where that particular account of Ygg characters wants to end up, so you could end up on Ymir by your choice or Valkyrie, and the next account could opt the other way.

From today non-VIP players will not be able to create characters on Yggdrassil.

More details about the pre-renewal server will be illuminated today. It is a "new server" and there is no way we can go from Renewal -> pre-renewal server with characters. The reverse is difficullt but the new to old is impossible.
It will not be exactly like the pre-renewal that existed just prior to renewal.

I have non vip acces.. so 3 characters on valk and 3 on ygg.. so if they merge to valk.. would I be able to play them or i'll have to get an access?

It's likely going to be like the Iris/Loki/Chaos merger, they will get put onto a overflow account.

I remember heim saying several patches ago there will be upcoming changes that will absolutely infuriate some people. I'm guessing this is one of them. We'll see how response is from the ygg players... I guess.

This is beginning to look like a problem... more players will quit. So frustrating that characters have to go back and forth and theres no way they can come back.. I dont see how this benefits players and makes them want to continue... with the game! p.p
