How does jf work? I find that it's so inconsistent in terms of the area of damage jf does. I know it requires line of sight but I've tried this in an open plain area. Sometimes I can freeze monsters so far away while sometimes I can't?
Also if level 3 is 15x15 that means 7 cell either side?
Thanks

Yes, 15x15 means 7 cells to either side of the caster.
edit: fixed typo

water mobs wont be frozen by jack frost (though they will with frost nova)
Demons seem very resistant to freeze maybe its just my experience..
undead cannot be frozen
the radius of JF used to be HUGE (<3 miss those days) now its a lot smaller

Problem is it didn't even do damage. Even if it was demon, bosses, high int they should still be hit and damaged if they are in my line of sight, but when I tried it, some close by wasn't hit but then next time I tried that really far monster from the edge
of the screen was hit? ? ?
I typically find that monster diagonal to me have less range but monster directly in front of me have a longer range? Would it be possible that jf range is not a square?

I'm sure the mob I was testing can be frozen.

Or you are using JF with dead cells/obstacles. It's Square from what I tested in PVP.
