Im kind of confused about this skill. I was under the impression that it was like spirit sphere absorb but with an aoe effect. When I perform the skill it doesnt seem to get anything from any monsters.

Power Absorbs use your current Spirit Spheres that you had. Each Sphere will recover 1% of your maxSP. So if you got 15 Spirit Sphere and use Power Absorb, It will recover 15% of your maxSP.

You also can steal other Sura's Spirit Sphere with this skill too btw.

I am not sure but if that is the case you should be able to use it with Rising Dragon + Zen to get 15%.
I really thought it was kind of useless tbh didn't realize it was 1% per sphere but the same 7sp per as SSAbsorb.
