On valk server, or do I need to be VIP? For deviling, maya purp, etc.
And if it's only for VIP can I still use a reset stone to aquire VIP status for like a day for opening the OCA's? Thanks

vip doesnt affect any oca or mca card rate, so there is no reason you need vip to open ocas

That old page explains the (outdated) differences between the servers and has nothing to do with the VIP status of an account. i.e. - being VIP doesn't affect what cards are in your OCA.
As far as I can recall, the only difference now is that Ymir requires VIP to create characters (meaning less bots), and there's a default storage space of 600.
