You can get good PVP equipment from KVM badges such as Glorious Armor,Glorious Shoes, Glorious type weapons,Glorious Manteau. All this "Glorious" thing gives a nice demihuman reduction. You can speak to Maroll Battle Recruiter near Eden Warper at South of Prontera and go to KVM Logistic Officer to get your KVM things. Cost for the equips are as follows :
  • Weapon : 2000 KVM Reward Points
  • Armor: 840 KVM Reward Points
  • Garment: 630 KVM Reward Points
  • Shoes: 580 KVM Reward Points
  • Accessory: 1,200 KVM Reward Points

Nah. All you need is KVM Badge in your Inventory. Make sure you got enough badge for what you need.

Glorious weapons are the best in PVP / WoE and also for demihuman monsters. Nothing really compares to them. Though I think there are some that are not that useful for classes like performers and rangers.

If you are still main-ing your GX, I see many GXes with KVM weapons out-MVP genes on demihuman MVPs. Seems very sweet for sure. ; )

Yeah, if you're GX, the KVM katar is not optional for PVP/WoE.

LOL 10 badges for 2 eden badges. at that rate, it would take you 200 days to save up for just the weapon alone. timesynckoreangrindofdeathmuch? completely useless and depressing and unfair since rich kids are just buying gear from kafra shop to pwn you with. this is why i have 0 interest in ever pvping in this game. will have to simply enjoy pvm and mvping and get my pvp fix in another game. seriously, this game is horrible and completely unwelcoming/unfair for new players (lol they even start you off from novice island with nothing but a dagger). sure we have eden to help us out, but the eden gear only gets you so far and in higher levels, the monsters are wtfpwning the crap out of you because you dont have enough survival/dps output. and making enough money to buy decent stuff is hard because potions and mats to level cost too much and then you have bots collapsing the market and charging too much for items that should cost much less.

this is why none of my friends will come back to play this game with me and this is probably why theres barely 2000 people playing after this many years. you cant have a game with graphics as low budget as this game, and be so completely unwelcoming to new players. hell, new players cant even play classes like ninja, because they require 100k startup fee just to even create. gravity is out of their minds and trying too hard to cater to long term players that have billions of zeny. they arnt going to get VIP subscribers if people dont even enjoy the first day of playing the game

^ I got my KVM by actually doing KVM. Also if you really can't save up, there are also the slightly weaker but considerably cheaper versions available.

they're good equipment, they shouldn't just fall onto your lap. Honestly, they probably shouldn't have ever made their way into lucky boxes either.

see while i agree with you about that under normal circumstances, theres also the flipside of the coin that awesome gear is just falling into the laps of rich kids with their mommies credit cards. so its unbalanced and unfair that we have to SLAVE to get this stuff like mindless grinding robots for months to compete against kids that get it all just wth the swipe of a credit card. makes it pointless even trying because youre basically just going to get wtfpwned for MONTHS trying to grind out the badges needed to compete. sounds like a pretty miserable experience to me and one im not even going to bother with cuz ill just end up raging and quitting and id like to keep this game enjoyable lol

Yes, they are different. Vellum weapons are obtained by monster drops from the guild dungeons's second floor or from the Hall of Abyss. Some of them drop directly from the monsters there, while others don't (They are obtained randomly from the WoE weapon supply box, which drops from the boss monsters in the Hall of Abyss or from the static treasure boxes located randomly on the Hall of Abyss of each realm.)
