To address the OP, I'd like to know about the Super Novice.
They keep listing the expanded classes as Gunslinger, Ninja, Taekwon Boy/Girl, Taekwon Master, and Soul Linker......but I haven't seen any mention of Super Novices yet.
Am I to assume that these will be implemented after trans, also? Or will these be avaliable from a different point in time.
(I'd totally appreciate Super Novices being avaliable from the launch.)
Probably, sadly didn't think of this until just now >< so much for starting on a super novice. Guess I'll have to choose something else.
I think I agree that the population will be very thin, but this really is Gravity's best option. As far as losing people, you can replicate the game, but you can't replace the community. People should join whatever community they like most. Pservers are also not "other RO servers". If renewal can be considered its own game, so can Pservers which tend to run things so differently it's funny they still call it RO. We lose players to other games, that's how it works. All games do, and sometimes they come back. Imo bringing people back from Pservers wouldn't be a good sign for Gravity. If they're gone because they wanted pre-renewal and they value the iRO community enough, then they'll come back. If not, might as well have lost them to WoW.
Other downside to Pservers. As I played on a lot mostly because I couldn't pay the subscription for RO and used them to get my 'fix' heh. But none of the pservers I ended up playing and even looking for ones that seem familiar don't exist. They go down and all that progress is lost. Come back here and my 2004 account still exists! with my level 43 swordy heh. So if people learn about pre-re server coming up official I could see a lot of those players that play more casual but still prefer the old system to com and join and bounce in and out depending on life and how their mood takes them. Unless the server totally fails they'll always be able to come back and to me that is worth more then getting on a 5x or 10x rate pserver.
