Questions list:
Can we reserve our old guild names?

What if we have more than 4 characters on our account?

Will everyone from Dekard have to pick a new name? What if nobody on Vyvern has your name? Is the name change optional? Will there be a tag put on the ends of the Dekard names?

Records means pvp records, correct? What about medals and accomplishments?

Will the new Vyvern server display Vyvern's old dragon or Dekard's dragon? Dekard had the better dragon imo. xP

I'm confused by the use of the words "offered" and "prompted." If you are certain that you have the correct answer to one of the questions I posted you are welcome to provide that answer.

if ur name is free on vyvern u can have it, but if its taken then u have to change.

I guess you can say no when you are prompted to change your name. Maybe even players with duplicate names can chose not to change their name and they can just keep a tag after it.

Since Dekard will be doing all of the moving, characters on Dekard will all be offered name changes. When logging into the game for the first time, all characters from Dekard will be prompted to change their names. Characters on Vyvern will NOT recieve name changes.

If the game forces players with duplicate names to change their names as soon as they log in, I will be forced to change my name because I have characters with the same name on both servers. If that is what happens, then reserving names on both servers has backfired. As I said, I'm confused by the words "prompted" and "offered." I really would like an example of how the automatic name change system is going to work for clarification.

Yes! Name change was just what I needed the (g) in my name was really bugging me for quite awile,I would love to tackle some Vyvern players in pvp and i'm already boiled up for this.Though I really don't want this to happen I don't have a choice in the matter so I guess i'll make the best of the merger,kind of sucks however our guild data is going to be cleaned including the pvp records this made my day sad.

It might be a good idea to let the "famous" guilds reserve their names, or else a lot of ppl will try to take guild name to scam other players with the reputation of the guilds names.

idk wat they might try to scam but bad things could happen and itd be better to just prevent it then clean it up later

honestly.. we should just be happy they aren't making us all start over from level one without our cash shop items..

it would seem illogical to refuse the name change prompt, why give u the option to change ur name unless u have to? seemed obvious.

If u were to refuse then u would most likely recieve the "name is already in use" message, as the name change would let u change the name to one that hasn't already been taken on vyvern since dekard is moving into vyvern.

tags sound good but they may complicate messaging/whispers/party invites/etc.

Assuming things works the same as on IAHGames.

Name changes will happen when you try to get on a character.
It'll ask you to change it's name with a dialog box and all.

PvP rankings are based solely on the new Ranking PvP mode.
Hence, your rankings will be wiped one way or another.

PvP Medals were kept on IAHGames, doubt it'll be different here.
(some MM bosses got their medals wiped though.)

Well, this is just speculation anyway.
Likely speculation, but speculation nonetheless.

I wish they just gave everyone a name change, or at least the ability to use previously deleted names. I quit my Trickster and its name was and still is Hentai. That was going to be my new characters name D:
