Do you have to open ClassicRO to get in? I can't since I get all this message saying "Failed to connet to file server" so I used the Ragnarok Online icon instead. Please look around before posting. The link is most likely the solution to your problem.

Edit: Also if you see 6 or whatever in the test server it's most likely the GMs tuning things up before allowing us to play, patience.

First open regular patch. Let it go through. Then get out of that patch and open the ClassicRO one and let it go through. Then open it and go to the Classic server.Do you have to open ClassicRO to get in? I did both and I am still getting the "failed to connect to file server" error. What should I do?First open regular patch. Let it go through. Then get out of that patch and open the ClassicRO one and let it go through. Then open it and go to the Classic server.

Lol I hope Inubashiri is right on the patch server down at the moment because I tried everything to patch ClassicRO.
U need to patch first the normal Ragnarok Client, so than try to access the ClassicRO client.
Note: The classic RO client doen't have any updates right now, so, only patch2.txt is gonna show to u to download.
Note²: patch2.txt only contains the notice that appears on the patcher.

They DID say to keep our afternoons open today. Some people took that quite literally only to have it be a waste of an afternoon. Of course there will be hard feelings about it.That's there fault for taking the time. there was never a SET time. It's an approximate time. and if they dont wanna wait just wait til tomorrow when the server is up and running. nobody FORCED them to sit here and wait for the launch.

I find it hilarious that people would actually cancel plans/take off work/call in sick for a video game. They DID say to keep our afternoons open today. Some people took that quite literally only to have it be a waste of an afternoon. Of course there will be hard feelings about it.

I did run the renewal patcher as administrator and I did the same thing with classic. I might be missing something. Which files should I check for in my RO folder? I might need to rename something or I might be missing a folder? Also if you're using 7/VISTA and have User Account Controls on. Make sure you run the renewal patcher as administrator, then once it's patched do the same with classic so you aren't missing anything.

Calling in sick or scheduling off work is a bit extreme, I agree, but making time to be around for the launch of a new server if you have the day off to begin with isn't so hard to believe =/ I didn't expect it to be up by the first deadline they give cause I have played RO for wayyyy too many years (like the days when the server would go down overnight and nobody was in the office, where we'd have to wait for the first person to start work in the morning before it would come back up =_=; ) but for the newer players, I can sympathize if they've been waiting around since noon.I find it hilarious that people would actually cancel plans/take off work/call in sick for a video game.

If I had the day off, I probably would have checked at noon to see if the server launched. I wouldn't have sat at home for the last 6 hours checking up to see if it has launched every 5 minutes.Calling in sick or scheduling off work is a bit extreme, I agree, but making time to be around for the launch of a new server if you have the day off to begin with isn't so hard to believe =/
