Anyone know of a good spear/GC hybrid build lying around somewhere? I am assuming it would focus on Agi/Int with some Str/Dex thrown in. No idea what the gear would look like. It would be fun as hell to play though!

At the moment I am kind of winging it. Here is what I have going for the moment:

Str: 30 (~50?)
Agi: 50 (~80?)
Vit: 40
Int: 50 (~80?)
Dex: 30 (~50?)

1hs Mastery 10
Endure 10
Provoke 10
+Hp Recovery 10
Bash 10

Faith 10
Holy Cross 10
Grand Cross 10
Cavalier Mast 5
Ride Peco 1
Demon Bane 5
Heal 9 or Heal 8 Cure 1

The idea would be to use 1 handed swords and a shield. You could Ctrl click things, use Bash/Holy Cross for singles, Grand Cross for groups and have heal for support. Seeing as I have only been playing the game for two weeks this is all just theory craft. Any opinions/info would be appreciated!

Seeing as no one had any input I went ahead and gave the build a shot. Just to see what would happen. These are the stats I am sitting on atm:

Str: 30
Agi: 50
Vit: 40
Int: 60
Dex: 50
Luc: 1

His Bash and Holy Cross both do really nice damage. I mostly use those two + my one handed sword to kill. If I get mobbed for whatever reason I use Grand Cross and it kills just fine. Usually in somewhere between 3-6 casts. Hilariously enough I take less damage when I am mobbed from the enemies than I do from Grand Cross.. Grand Cross eats through my health fairly quickly. It also doesn't cast as fast as I would like. My heal is just strong enough to be useful.

I am going to keep with this build till 99 and see how it turns out. I doubt Grand Cross and Heal are going to cut it much longer without a lot more int/dex. It seems having hybrid stats just doesn't cut it the farther you get into the game. But, we will see.

GC doesn't mix with anything, and isnt terribly good in renewal, and is of questionable value in classic. GC depends on different stats than your other skills, so it's hard to be good at both GC and whatever else..
