Where did I get level 40? Do you mean where I leveled from 40 to 65?

At 40 I was in GH Churchyard til level 52. Starting at 52 I started to get parties at Stings and when I couldnt get parties I soloed in GH Churchyard

How do you go churchyard ?

Get a warp to Glast Heim, go to the lower mid portal. Once you're in St. Abbey (That's what it should say if you type /where). Go to the portal on the right of the map, then you should find the Churchyard

Churchyard is good til about 52 then it slows down. Personally I'd recommend partying with a mage or archer at Stings once you hit 52 and you feel the EXP is Low. Otherwise stay in churchyard if you cant go elsewhere.
