We got old Morroc, cause Morroc got destroyed by Satan HeimOda during 12.1.
Payon got rebuild to be more like the Anime Version.

I can't complete my Swordman Training Quest because Muetro doesn't exist on this Memory of Morocc Map.
He's supposed to be where I'm standing.

With some careful adjustments and addition of content to feed the needs of many players alike Classic has always offered at great stepping stool to get more players online in the next few months. With something new like a "Warp Portal" to old payon... it could give the game a good push in the right direction.

This already exists on the Renewal servers but you can only use it if you have the item from the event that happened last year(?) I think.I wonder if they could enable a special "Rabbit Hole" tunnel to lead to Old Payon via some location in Payon, but it's also fully functional, so we get both?
But yeah I miss the old Payon too.
On the continued subject of nostalgia, would it also be so much to ask to have a classic background on the title screen? Just feels weird seeing the Renewal ones there.

Yes I agree it's freaking huge... so much unused space. However if that pace could be used for quests and other tid bits, would it feel more like Prontera? That nearly 75 % of the entire map is used.

We definitely like the compact nature of old payon, but there are a lot of NPCs and interior maps that would need to get changed to put it in. A possibility for a coming update, but we couldn't do it at launch.
This is awesome and would keep me playing even if it's somewhere around 2 months down the road.

At least put the save point back in Archer Village. Walking from Payon to Payon Caves is annoying.
Well, I think not too many people know this, but there's a kafra outside the palace, and the respawn is so much closer to the portal to archer village. Just as a tip, That helps a lot
I like the old payon but prefer the new, it's bigger, and have lots of places , for quest and npc's.
