I like Valhalla just because of the meaning through the mythology.
I think that either old server name is kinda skewed and unfair to vets of the previous servers.
Renaissance just sounds weird and long to me.

I vote Classic. I know it is not an option but it's better than pretending that this server amounts to and/or is a shadow of Chaos' or Loki's formerself. The other ones are just weird sounding.

They may not want to name it Classic in case they want to make another classic server in the future. Imagine if Ymir was named Renewal. Things would be pretty confusing now with Valkyrie and Yggdrasil, being renewal servers as well.

Those are all bad choices. Classic is fine and I don't like the idea of a name that has to do with some old guild or server that has little connection to most players outside of forum drama.

Yep this is what happened in the past. People ended up voting for their second, third, or fifteenth favorite name just because their number one favorite was so far behind in the polls that it feels like a wasted vote.

Anyway : Valhalla? here's the run down.

I can guarantee you that word was used in Norse myth before the creation of any RO guild. I can also tell you that the well known Valhalla (Actually spelled "Vaihalla" )guild of the past existed before the Valhalla map was put in with the transcendent update. In order to hold to your principles here, you should be complaining that this particular map was named after the aforementioned guild.
Furthermore, you would be then having to demand that the GM prison map, also named Valhalla, should be renamed to something else in order to not have any mythological references to this mythological guild. - or to that matter any of the many guilds that contain the word Valhalla.

Once you've done that, take a look at Valkyrie and then demand the server to be renamed, or the guild to be renamed so that there is no server / guild bias implied. I am also quite mad that there are monsters with the same name as a guild. That is terrible.
