It wont accept the characters I create. I make the character and when I'm finished I hit "OK" and it disconnects me. And it also takes the names I've made of and wont let me reuse them. What's going on here. This is in the classic server as well.

Make sure you are using the ClassicRO client, not the Renewal client.
If your Renewal client is up to date, one of the recent patches to it will create a ClassicRO executable in your ragnarok directory.
