I got a bug doing this quest.
Im JOB lvl 50 and the quest still asking me for the items on the first step. How can i erase the quest and take it again?

I guess.. lvl 48 maybe and Catherine (quest giver), told me that in job 50 the first step is skiped...

That's the reason why the first part of the quest could not skipped. Since you started the wizard job change quest prior to hitting job 50, it recognizes you as being job level 48.
