The thing I didn't like was seeing no base stats and than a substat.

And also if someone can post a picture I have only seen them in shops and don't even know what they look like

Also the gear that I have seen have no stats and from what I can see it is not like a artisan can reinforce the dang things so what good are they except for being a costume.

When you view item in shop window, you can move your cursor over the item, hold Ctrl + Right click to preview item on your character.

eh all the weapons are dinky. I mean the epics at least look like high level eapons but the colors are too futuristic for the game.

The katar and the bow is the only ones I like from the new weapons.

Again still not so hot about no stats

If you like the 1 handed flame sword they designed and input into the game, then your standards are very low.

I was talking about all the new suits though. I haven't played for a while, as you might've guessed from the reactions of other forumdwellers.

Fair is fair, my standards are pretty low though. I mean, I came from the time where ROSE was in a rough spot and all new content was either bought from jROSE or just recolored old content.

Just cause some graphics used to be bad it doesn't mean it can't be better. The flame sword looks like art from a 5 year old guy made into 3d by a ten year old and put in game by a developer. It's horrid. Having low expectations will almost encourage you to make things look bad, it's never wrong to put down some time on designing, I mean it's their job after all.
So far the Katars are the only legit ones.

Anyways, I've seen the sword. It's odd, to say the least. I wonder, we have the burning status effect that sets a character on fire, right? Would it be difficult to make the sword burn all the time, like a gem glow? It would significantly increase the appeal of the weapon.

Any artist will tell you criticism is hard to take if the person commenting can't be polite and constructive about it. I should know, I'm a graphic design student.

I'm not saying you should suck up to the developers every time they recolour a wooden cart and give it a different name. But maybe they'll listen more carefully if you ask politely.
