Just a quick explanation - the item goes in the consumable tab, but it's not consumed on use. It summons the mount when you double click it.I hate to be this guy, but mounts as consumables sounds like a terrible idea. About as fail as the current pet system.
The consumable item that calls the mount will go away after X amount of days.

You're probably right at that spot since Xenobite designed one (I think) there's moldie backpack concept art atleast. Smart!Maybe they put in a moldie backpack, just for that picture.

Think of that tab as more like "Double-Clickables" rather than consumable
Anyone who used the shovel in the Gradiation Event or the Mana Drill in the Luna Hero Quest would be familiar with the concept
Being in that tab basically indicates - this is something you USE.
As for the pet system, I would love to see an overhaul of that myself ^_^
I always thought it would be cool if "summons" and "pets" were kept separate.
