The Naga on that map does actually usually Ganbantein as I learned trying to VFW it >.>. I understand that these special ones are needed for the Warlock job change but they are annoying (Naga especially) to people who would be trying to level by killing the Pingiculas. Perhaps while wearing both of the accessorys the NPC that takes you into the map can take you to a special quest map that has the monsters and they can be removed from the ordinary map.
Indeed, i'd like that too.
It feels like they reduced the spawn of pingiculas (which are good to leevel on and will be good to level on in renewal), and put in these really obnoxious monsters instead.
And the nagas are NOT easier than the normal ones. They don't spam skills, but they have so damned much hp.
You effectively cannot use that map for leveling (especially since, it appears, they don't drop anything, and I'll venture a guess that they don't give exp either).

No, that was the normal spawn. Pingers drop them at a high rate.I think they may have dropped me an Elder Branch when I was helping my friend on the Warlock quest? Not sure if it was really them, though.

I dunno, either the nagas and bradium golems need to be toned down, moved to another map, or like Azzy suggested make them non-aggressive. The number of them there is ridiculous, though I can see why considering the warlock job change quest has such a low chance to get what they need...but adding such a large number of quest monsters that are so much stronger then the natural spawn just ruins the map completely, especially since the map will probably be a very popular place to hunt (good exp and some nice/some staple drops).
As for the number of pings on the map being low, I always found, even in pre-re, that the number of pings on the map was disappointingly low. I didn't notice a real difference in the spawn amount between Ymir and Ygg, but I don't go there very often so I could be mistaken. The map could certainly use a boost to the ping spawn rate though.

Yeah, ping spawn was always annoyingly low, but it seems worse in renewal. I was there alot on ymir (95-98 rogue 80-91 stalker), though I havn't tested it that extensively on Ygg.I always thought it was odd that the level 99 nagas were ridiculously stronger then the level 117 nagas.

And... the 99 nagas are more painful numerically, but they don't do waterball.

The Ping count on the map definitely seems lower to me. They probably reduced the Ping count to add the stupid quest monsters.
Also, aren't Vespas supposed to be only aggressive to players below level 99? Or did this change with renewal?(intentionally) They are aggressive to my 101 ranger.

Haldor: They aggro anyone that is more than 5 levels below their level. This means that you need to be 104 to be safe.
