As stated above I just have a quick question. Does ore discovery also count for your party members? I ask this because I leech my blacksmith on my swordie and want to know if its worth getting when I go smith.

I doubt it purely on the basis of being too good to be true haha.

I've partied with Wizards and other blacksmiths, so unless we have horrible luck, all that mobbing definitely shows it does jack squat for anyone other than the killer, Dat Wizard mobbing.

Ore Discovery (along with all other skills and effects which add a chance of receiving an item when killing something) is based on who would have drop priority before accounting for party membership, so no.
