Seriously wtf is up with that map? Even to exchange medals I get an itch up my arse to go there. Can't teleport moving around is hard, makes you feel like crap.

Get rid of Einbroch pl0x. Or change the name to -_-broch

I was just ranting about this the other week in a topic on the pirate quest.

It's a horrible town. It's maze-like, the contrast on the minimap is garbage so you can't navigate.... and you can't teleport! Apparently there are quests that talk about why teleporting doesn't work, though, so they won't change it. Oda seemed open to a taxi service, but I think we all know what the priority of something like that is.

Yes they are, by putting NPCs we need to talk to there.

Yes we are forced to go there. I don't think anyone even has that place as a save point (Except for Botted Porcellio Farmers).

if i not mistaken, we cannot teleport in cities with airport like Juno, Lighthalzen and Einbroch. This is to avoid ppl riding da airship for free

Actually you can teleport freely in Juno, Hugel, Rachel Field 12, & Izlude all of which areas include an Airship. The inability to teleport in Lighthalzen and Einbronch is due to the design of the towns from what I understand it has nothing to do with getting a free Airship ride.

i agree..moving around in einbroch is annoying..

But i gotta admit the fact that, perhaps, einbroch is one of the most beautifully detailed cities in RO..such minute details everywhere..great imagination by the artist, but poor design..

Lighthalzen and Einbroch are the two airship cities that have an outdoor area after you pay for the airship where you would supposedly be able to flying to if it were allowed.

Also, Lighthalzen has the slums and I assume the writers wanted people to actually read the story and talk to the npc to get there. I'm not sure what the story for Einbroch is though. Personally, walking around Einbroch is less of a pain than walking around Lighthalzen. At least the streets are interesting and not just one long road. I really hate the smog though.

Other than gameplay reasons, there are story reasons why teleport isn't allowed. Devs don't want you cheating and writers want you to read the stories.

The riding of the airship for free is not a reasonable justification for the prohibition on teleporting - for one thing, you can do it in juno! I used to have that spot memo'ed to save me the time of going through the stupid airship terminal. For another thing, it would take so long to get a lucky landing that you could easily hunt several times the cost of the airship ticket in the time it took.

At least in Lhz, the minimap is useful, and the roads are clearly visible - and there's a semi-good reason for it (the slums). Ein has no such reason. It's a real pity, because I love the styling on Ein, but they've made it so unpleasant to be in that nobody goes there.
