error happened when i use Fly wings while i'm riding a Halter Lead 30 days (cash shop item) always same error happened 18 times today >.< -

i forgot im get the same error in 3 differente operative systems

windows 7 ultimate updated -- i7 - 16gb ram - GTX 690 4GB video card

windows vista updated --- core2 quad - 8gb ram 2gb video card

windows xp 64 bits --- i3 --8gb ram - 2gb video card

10 Mbps / 3Mbps internet speed

reinstalled on all computers and i still ---- get same error on all computers

last drivers installed

And this reproducibly happens when using flywings while also riding the halter-lead mount, and not at other times?

Does this happen on all classes, or just your warlock?

I got this error too when I was riding a mount and going through portals. Adding on that, sometimes I'd error out if the lead is just in my inventory while teleporting around. Guessing the timer on the lead is out synced or something whenever a teleport/map change occur and force the client to crash. Just a wild guess.

Hm, I can't reproduce this problem.

So it's not effecting everyone... Very strange.

Sounds not your RO client is not saving the updates. Do this here go to your Ragnarok directory and provide the entire directory with full access (read + write). You can do this by right clicking on a blank area from within the folder and select Properties. Uncheck the read box so that your RO directory can have full access.

After you have done that run the patcher (Ragnarok.exe) as Admin. Please provide screenshots so we can get a better understanding of what's going on.

Ok check this out. Most Windows7 machines comes with the default Windows driver which works fine for most applications, but not for game that uses DirectX. What I had to do to fix the issue was installed the proper video driver and then DirectX from Microsoft.


Another thing that you might want to consider is provide your RO directory with full read/write access. You may also want to run Setup.exe as Admin. Then if need to delete the patch log and repatch your client as admin.

Typically missing/bad DirectX or Video Drivers will give you blank menus at the top of the Setup program (which will result in the 'cannot init d3d or grf has problem'* message).

I've seen perfectly working installations of RO give the "this program did not install correctly" when running the setup program, as if windows thinks it's an installer - so I think that's the origin of this error.

I'm hoping that the OP's problem will be solved by a clean reinstall and then running the client as admin.

i think u guys got all wrong this is not a installation problem this is a bug of the " mount" halter lead 30 days

game was reinstalled on new hard driver

I can't reproduce the issue with a 7 day halter lead.

Does it only happen with the 30 day one?

well i was using 30 days on 4 accounts and all same error
can't use wings or gwings while using the mount 30 days cuz i gues this error

everyone have the same problem that's why ppl don't buy the mount
it's a cash shop item and the programers should make it priority to fix the buggs of cash shop items sad face for the programmers xD
