I think there is nothing wrong with battlegrounds. However I think it's a good idea (done on most private servers now) to add WoE / BG exclusive supplies as rewards. This keeps BG's active throughout the entire server, and not just 1 week for everyone to get their BG set and medallions. Also reduces the cost for people to WoE which makes it more enjoyable for everyone.

I also think KVM should never be released, almost all of the KVM gear/accesories/weapons are overpowered. On top of that there's bugs with kvm which allows players to get over a thousand points per game - so you might want to fix that if you guys plan on adding KVM sometime.

Even though I don't like you and your reputation, I agree with not adding KVM / BG gear to classic, more than anything.

This event will be expanded to include double monster drops on December 19th, and both events will continue until January.

Little Info:


I was at the part where the kafra gave out fragment locations, pre-maint.
After maint i just:
went back to the fragment location giver kafra on the airship - it gave me a new quest entry.
The sage in juno told me to go to the ymir heart,
i went there and clicked the heart, a valkyrie npc spawned
clicked it, got a new headgear (valk band) and got warped straight to the trans valkyrie (bypassing zeny fee).

i can now trans ;p

in lutie by the big tree in the middle.. frantic child. eventually you need 50 pieces of red fabric and I have no idea how to get it. IDK about the other quest about the raccoons. It doesn't even say how to start it...

Grandma Claus asks for 50 "Pieces of Red Fabric" which was an item from last year's x-mas event. Raccoon Hooray team or whatever... but does anyone know how to get it? I wasn't around for this and there aren't really any directions as of how to obtain this item.

From tickets, red fabric should be on xmas/toy factory monsters but they forgot to add them, expect more maintenance later..

and ugghh, this lucky box trolls me when you need mercenaries instead you got some nice stuff like HE BM and others and waste more than 3k points just to get mercenaries. Why can't I get good luck with other lucky boxes like this?

Ah, the creatures that drop the item will be properly added when we get everything updated and all the servers are restarted some hours from now.
