[Zurn]

So the last two days of the Steam Release let the flood gates open on ROSE, with that being said there was also a large amount that had no idea what was going on or what did what in the game so here is a small informational post for you all!

Classes/Jobs!

General Descriptions

• Soldiers, With formidable attack strength and physical endurance Soldiers protect their allies from enemies and eliminate evil monsters. Although they can not use magic, they can use almost every type of weapon in order to inflict more damage onto enemies.
• Main Stat to increase, Strength

Second Jobs

Champions, Soldiers can advance to Champions through ceaseless self-training in the art of offensive combat. Champions can deal with many foes at a time with their powerful attack strength.

Knights,Soldiers can advance to Knights imbued with holy power. Knights always lead the forces at the front line with their excellent defense, and can withstand attacks from stronger enemies.

• Muses, Training themselves to communicate and harmonize with the universe, Muses can use magical spells derived from the elements. Although they are only able to use basic magic, Muses are welcome in parties for the power of their spells which surpass that of any wielded weapon.
• Main Stat to increase, Intelligence

Second Jobs

Cleric, A Muse can advance to Cleric after obtaining the power of holiness. The magic of Clerics can be used to heal and cure allies during battles.

Mage, A Muse can advance to Mage after obtaining the power of nature. Mages are known for the sheer power of their offensive magic spells.

• Hawkers, are born to be adventurers who love exploring dangerous or legendary places that others may fear. They have various abilities and skills that are ideal for exploring.
• Main Stat to increase, Dexterity

Second Jobs

Raider, Hawkers can be promoted to Raiders which specialize in delivering deadly attacks. Raiders possess fast movement, hiding abilities and fatal blow skills, so it is ideal for them to use hit and run tactics in battle.

Scout, Hawkers can advance to Scouts by focusing on their archery skills. Scouts can use Long Bow class weapons to do fast and accurate attacks.

• Dealers, Travel around the planets to trade rare products have one important policy in bussiness: Buy cheap and sell high. They are also very good at crafting items and selling those goods to make a profit. In the world of ROSE, danger can not be avoided when traveling, so the Dealers must know how to protect themselves from threats.
• Main Stat to increase, Concentration

Second Jobs

Bourgeois, Honest Dealers that want to specialize in business and trading can be promoted to the Bourgeois. As Bourgeois, their trading skills are enhanced and are also able to hire mercenaries. Bourgeois characters use their financial abilities to gain control and influence over their opponents and to make sure their allies are well supplied.

Artisan, Dealers that wish to further develop their craftsmanship can be promoted to Artisans. As Artisans, they can create rare items by learning various crafting skills. They can also create potions and items for themselves and others to aid in battles.

• Strength (STR)

Strength is your over all HP, Defense, Weight limit, and Attack Power for Swords, 2-Handed Swords, Spears, and Axes.

• Dexterity (DEX)

Dexterity increases your dodge rate, Attack Power for Dual Swords, Katars, and Bows.

• Intelligence (INT)

Intelligence increases your MP, Magic Resistance, and Attack Power of Staffs and Wands.

• Concentration (CON)

Concentration increases your Accuracy and Critical, and Attack Power of Guns and Launchers.

• Charm/Charisma (CHA)

Charm/Charisma this stat currently has very few benefits, it can increase quest rewards but I personally don't think it is worth it. On Pegasus (Testing server) there is talk of Charm/Charisma being the buff/heal influence over Intelligence.

• Sense (SEN)

Sense increases your over all Attack Power and Critical.

Making Money early on

Picking up items and selling them to NPCs can seem like it will take forever to make a large impact on your wallet, but it will help and what else are you going to do with all that junk armor, weapons, and other items you pick up along the way?

Begging for money is the easiest way to lose friends and potential friends in the game, no one wants to hear "Can I please have some money?". Also once someone says "No" once please refrain from asking again, you will annoy that person and they just be someone who could have helped you out later on!

Button(s) to remember

Tab, Makes you walk or run. When at 100% Weight you will walk until you get under 100%.

New Changes of Importance/things to know!

• At level ten (10) you can change your job at the Village near the entrance to Valley of Luxem Tower, talk to the Trainer of the class you wish to be.
• At level one hundred (100) you can change to your second class, the quest items are now a 100% chance to get them.
• To Appraise an item Visit any Gypsy Jewel Seller, or buy an Item Appraisal Scroll from the Item Mall to appraise from anywhere!
• Being in a Party increases your Experience gained while killing monsters.
• How to open the Skills Window, and what all is inside! (Link)
• How to leave the Game, and information on the System Window. (link)
• Pressing Alt+Crtl at the same time will make items on the ground display a name, pressing just ctrl will show them while you are pressing it.

Great start Zurn. I have been in Leo helping noobs a lot these last few days. A few suggestions from what they keep asking me.
1. A picture somewhere, maybe even a loading screen for new players, of what a GM will look like. There seem to be some fake ones running around the noobs lately.
2. being in a party gives more experience then leveling alone.
3. a lot are having a hard time figuring out where their skills and stuff are - the right hand panel of symbols.
4. a lot do not know how to log out of the game.
5. I keep telling them to pick up all the drops and how to hit atl and ctl a few time and the drops will show up permanently for them. That seems to help them. And they should sell their stuff to the NPCs for zulie.
6. so many want to know what stats to put in for whichever class they are going for. A lot are upset because they put stats where they don't need them. Maybe you could put the main stats by the class descriptions. I know people have different opinions on these and once they hit 100 it might change some but I think in general helping them with things like for muse go all int or int with con to your level. Things like the basics might help. A lot are putting in charm and sen which doesn't really help them.

You are doing a great job. I just hope that more come on the forums. Maybe a shout at the top by the Devs to check the forums for help might be good.

Added a few things, edited the wiki to add a few more things, linked the poop out of the last section, added a small money making guide thingy, and last but not least currently making two more threads identical to this one, one in the main section and one on steam.
