Submission Dates: 10.07.2010 ~ 10.29.2010
Player Voting Dates: 11.03.2010 ~ 11.08.2010

Back items have always been a big part of ROSE, be it Wings or Backpacks and even Shields. We are always looking for new ideas when it comes to back items, and while we have our own ideas we know that we are a small group of fans that know what we like but would like to see what you like and want to see as back items in-game.

Purpose

These items will be used as quest rewards in-game, or special event items. What ideas you come up with for this will truly be given back to you in the form of an in-game item.

Submissions

We will be accepting your concepts which can be hand drawn (make sure you add color, if the item is suppose to have color), created with a tablet and image editing software, or 3D models.
Don't forget we want to know what you think the name should be for the item, the item description and you can even give it what you think are ideal stats.

Results

At the close of the submission period, we will review all the submissions and open a voting thread where you will be able to vote on the items you want to see in-game.
Once voting is closed we will announce the winners and start working on ways we can implement them in-game.

Prizes

Top 5 Players Voted Back Items will receive a WarpPortal T-Shirt in-game, $10 worth of ROSE Item Mall Points & their item once its in-game.

Also.. Is it limited to a single submission? Cause I have quite a few ideas and it would suck to have to narrow it down to one.

it looks interesting but it would be very helpful if you can add more detailed description

for example:
- what type of item is it? wings or backshield?
- what is it made of? (leather? some metal? some feathers? something else - this is not a "crafting materials list" but information for developers / texture artists who have to make it - I guess when you add (as you mentioned before) colored version it will be more "clear")

you should make it a backshield made of Metal or something or stone.

Offhand Shields are acceptable too?

For this event or contest rather, what is being accepted is back items.

If there is a desire for off hand items/content then we can work on putting something together in the coming months.
