Once in a while when I hit enter to chat i crash wtf is that

Its, ironically, called the chat bug. Use the little enter (num pad enter) to circumvent it, and do NOT type full lines. If I type as much as is possible I crash, its just that simple.

Yeah seems to happen to some more then others, def somewhat of an issue tho.. Love it when a tank has it in the middle of a full JS room pull =D

i made a post about this before maint and it was deleted...and now another hmmm.....so why the hell we still puttin up with this bug anyways?

Same reason we still put up with the Stealth bug. And the Charge bug. And the Dash bug. And the Jump bug that makes you not jump right. And the....shall i continue? I could write an essay here.

Ironically though...this bug doesn't affect me. I've never ever ever crashed from this bug =P

update to windows 7. microsoft is selling professional edition for 30$ to people with school emails at their site ^^.'

never had this problem w/ windows 7. only xp.

happens on win 7 too. Just make 3 separate windows, lock them, guaranteed crash.
Can handle two windows though.

Chat or typing bug, rules supreme. It will frequently happen to me, several times every day. Especially at the most inconvenient times. Personally, I have tried everything other fellow players have suggested, i.e. typing short sentences, NOT using the big enter key but rather the Num one, you name it. To no avail. If it is going to crash, it bloody will. And most of the times it doesnt wait for "enter" to happen, rather freezes while still typing, then crashes. Even with tiny sentences, 2-3 small words. A scientific explanation of this amazing phenomenon would be greatly appreciated!

idk :/ ive been spaming party chat max text for 10 mins now and i cant get it to crash. where as before when i had windows xp all i had to do was say "pt me" and id crash >_>

thought maybe it was the windows 7 thing helping.
but i guess not since you has windows 7 too :/

maybe it has something to do with video cards? it has to be something we all have in common for it to be crashing, if not all users are getting it.

ya , i have that crap always on my ranger , not my rad or sr. and with the numpad enter its not buged. i even removed my big enter key to not hit it my accident

hmm not sure if its caused by the winxp and not at vista. some ppl never have it , some often, some always. i reinstalled WinXP a while ago and had it befor and after , even a few mins after installd. and Ram should not count too , it happens when you enter the game and the ram is pretty empty too

Have this problem in region chat. First time is normal, but second make client crush, when i hit Enter. mb this becose i create separete chat windows?
