Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knew why Shadow Slash was banned in WoE

are you sure its banned?

from my experience almost all knockback/relocate-like effects are removed in WOE.
the skill still can be casted and does damage, but its knockback/relocate effect wont activate.

they dont want you being able to move distances without walking (which is bs since other classes have skills that do the same thing basicly)

dunno bout on classic... i did woe as a ninja and we couldnt use it in prerenewal... so its prolly disabled

It was disabled after it was discovered you could use the skill to bypass Barricades in WoE 2 Castles.

Couldn't they have just patched that part of it up? cause I really think a Melee/kunai ninja build would be a viable option because of there ability to move around and hit from many different directions with shadow leap

Yeah, Shadow Leap and Slash have been disabled in WoE pretty much since Ninjas first came out. No matter how we argued our case, the GM Team would not allow the skill to be reinstated.

in classic melee/kunai ninja are weak compared to magic ninjas... the exact opposite of renewal builds
