Id suggest you look at the post-balance skill description than game's:


Exceed Break

Variable Cast Time: (4.5 + 0.5 * Skill Level) seconds
Global Skill Delay: 1 second
Duration: 300 seconds
Movement penalty: - (60 - 10 * Skill Level) %
ATK [{(Skill Level x 100) + (Caster’s Job Level x 10)} + (Weapon Weight x Weapon Level) x (Caster’s Base Level / 100)] %
Removed when weapon is unequipped/changed

Some say that a Glorious spear will do crappy dmg. I never got a chance to test it out. Does weapon weight really effect eb?

EB5 is 500% ATK. It will only become 750% once you reach base level 150 (500% x 1.5 = 750%)

FYI,

EB1 = 100% ATK (150% @base level 150)
EB2 = 200% ATK (300% @base level 150)
EB3 = 300% ATK (450% @base level 150)
EB4 = 400% ATK (600% @base level 150)
EB5 = 500% ATK (750% @base level 150)

Majority of the damage of EB comes from the weapon weight and weapon level. It dwarfs the damage modifier of the skill itself that is why some people prefer to get only EB1 for faster cast.
