I have Ninja Scroll - lower headgear MATK +1%, RWC Pendants with INT+3/Spells3/Spells3 and a Bookhat +9 [INT+1, +1% ATK/MATK for every upgrade level capped at 9% > total of 9% ATK and 9% MATK?]

I have not yet tested +matk gear, but my tests so far indicate that matk should add damage with Acid Bomb, of comparable magnitude to +atk effects.
You can confirm this by taking off your weapon, thus eliminating the damage variance, and bombing a monster with and without the +matk gear on.
If you were to do this and then post your stats, gear, and damage with and without the matk gear - plus of course the monster you bombed, that would be helpful in my current research on the acid bomb formula.
