JoonHo's Battle Tactics DPS and Hybrid Warrior Build (Updated 7-5-2014)

I see. Looks like the logics from RO1 is really waaaay different compared in here. Rather, most online games' logic doesn't apply here that much. Anyway, thanks for the tip. I'll be following a 60[int]-30[agi]-10[vit] stat breakdown.

Keep it at 1, you rely on your crits. You will spam Bash and Rage Strike more so Aura Strike is the skill you use while Rage Strike is on cd. Tension Relax is only until lvl 3 if you arent Master Level, it extends until 6 once you upgraded your character beyond the level 50 level cap.

Stick to the JoonHo's updated version as this is more or less the only valid one right now. Without the additional master level skill points, you don't have to level 'nice to have' or PvP skills like Tension Relax, Endure or Battle Leap => v1 or v2.

I would suggest:

ML 1 to capped  ML 7 => Condor

ML 8+ to capped ML 13 => Mukas

ML 14+ to capped ML 22 => Osiris

ML 23+ to capped ML 27 => lower Dark Whisper (DW lower)

ML 28+ to ML 30 => DW upper

It depends. A higher level brandish storm can fastens you leveling process a bit, but you might either lose some skillpoints for your 'perfect skill build' or you might have to buy a skill reset later.  If you use this skill build as a 'core', you can choose where to put the remaining skillpoints to. Some prefer Tension Relax, others might level Aura Strike and some might max. Brandish Storm.

I never had any problems farming with Level 3 Brandish Storm.

"Problems" would really be strange. More interesting would be to see if grinding is notably slower with a min. level Brandish Storm.

Just skip the last 20 skillpoints and if a skill has a max level of 10, it has a max. level of 5 before you reach master levels. Any skill with a max. level of 6, did have a limit of 3 instead.

Lvl 1~24:

Max. Bash, then Aura Strike and thereafter Head Crush + Aura Armor => skill reset on job change

Lvl 25~50:

Start with this and either put the remaining 2 skillpoints on Tension Relax or Battle Leap (I would prefer TR but it depends if you want it in your final build). This build should serve you well 'till level 50.

Keep in mind that with level 50, you have to have Battle Tactics maxed and Brandish Storm lvl1 at least. AND you should save some skill points to max Ymir Form and to bring a few skills other skills (Rage Strike or Battle Leap) to the extended max. level once they're accessible.

Stat points are rather insignificant troughout the whole game. When you level your character however, you can use the free stat reset on level 25 (job change) to go full STR early in the game. Thereafter, I'd choose to go full INT or full VIT (see below) until I reach the cap and leave the rest until the character reaches master levels.

That's up to you. I'd choose VIT or INT, depending on whether you prefer to play more offensively or defensively.

I've been visiting this thread for the pass 2 weeks. It's the first result when you search Ro2 Warrior Build in Google.

Note: People might be a bit confused with the stats right now as it was pretty different when i was using the stats i have posted here. As of now agi doesnt really give you that much of an advantage. I have put all my stats on int and just let my blueseeds on armors do the magic for the str/agi/vit. Im rolling on 1000+ int and the times numerous times i crit is still pretty much the same. But right now i do more damage than ever, when i had only around 700 int.
Also some people might be confused about the DPS build, its not meant for tanking. I was using that build for farming and PvP before. My updated skills that i have posted is my exact one that iam using except that i have Brandish at Lvl3 and Pummel at Lvl2 just to make use of the remaining skill points.
For people who are PMing me and most of the time i dont respond its cause im mostly farming for the new Cazar gears.
Anyways hope this guide helps you Newbie warriors out.

how do u have so much int? do you have like int hone on every single equip, and +8 or more int runes on all gears & costumes?

Yeah every piece of gear has int on it, about runes i only have 3 pieces of int runes and costumes still on agi. <--- lazy mofo
All in all without allocating my personal stats in int i have 700 plus the 300 personnal stats.


For peeps which are reall curious about stats, you dont really have to follow my personnal route you can experiment.
Str = Attack power and Hit
Int = Destructive imba broken Battle tactics
Vit = For more HP and survivability agaisnt stealthy one shot damage dealers. *cough* Sin *cough*
Agi = Crit rate and dodge.

Hi JoonHo, just a question. How many skill points can I buy from that cat? I mean, is it 20 PER visit to the npc or 20 is a lifetime limit?
