Guild disbanding a few mins before maintenance?

I am at work at the moment but one of my guildmates who was online before maintenance started just sent me this screenshot. It happened a couple minutes before maintenance:

Please confirm this is a bug and will be resolved by the time the server is back online (anyone else experienced this in their guild?)

Clearly I was not even online when this happened so yeah...

After kicking someone from the guild the game kicked your guild D:

I believe the "[guildname] was expelled from the guild" is a very old bug that shows when you are being kicked from a guild. It shows guild name instead of your actual name on your screen, but not on other guildmates' screens.

just try to log on once MT is over, if its still disbanded send a ticket right away

I have changed my RO2 game account password, which means that my password was not changed in the first place. So I guess that is already something...

I guess I will have to wait until server is back up to find out what is going on....I PMed the CMs but they are probably busy with maintenance, or sleeping :/

If the guild is/was disbanded, it would show it as "(guildname) has disbanded". At least it showed it that way when I disbanded my alts guild. Its probably a text bug. Theres times in which I have logged and it showed me as being guildless, but when I zoned or relogged, everything was back to normal. This game has weird bugs that love freaking you out xD

Guild exists, the top 68 members on the list were kicked, my sorc was deleted. My main char was moved, nothing was stolen.

Experience donation % didn't update, I'm at 18% and didn't receive the exp from the members who were kicked. Nothing makes sense.

Someone probably hacked your account and attempted to delete your guild and all your characters but the hacker forgot about the maintenance so he didn't get to finish what he planned to do.

Oi. hope things get fixed.

A Gm is currently looking into the situation. It is not a game bug.

Please remember to use complex passwords, and change it often to prevent unexplained occurrences like this from happening. Thanks.

My guild admin, so, not possible (besides, she was asleep).

Quick update for those interested:

Njoror and the GM team were pretty fantastic and started investigating a few mins after my ticket was submitted, my sorc was restored already and they have found an IP logging into my account. There are no other details that can be shared at this point as investigation is still ongoing.

Sadly I will have to re-add everyone manually into the guild. Individual guild exp may or may not be restored during a maitnenance, we'll have to see about that.

I am still wondering why someone would do something so petty and useless. I hope the investigation sheds some light on this absurd situation. I am  truly baffled as to how this could happen.

EDIT: Zanbee's tip is valid, but in this case, my password is a long string of incoherent alphanumerical characters and includes special characters, so it was not the issue here.
