About Boxter:

Unfortunately Boxter does not tend to come in for Groove Pack items on the classic server. However since there is interest in having groove pack items trade in on boxter we will be revamping and modernizing her.

• Next week we will be putting in a revamped boxter.

Boxter will only take the last two months of items.

The new Boxter will do brownie points much like the renewal one.

Boxter will start to take Groove Pack Items

For the first time she will take the last 4 months of items.

She will also be going forward much quicker and easier to update.

• Classic version of Talk like a Pirate Day event will come in on 9/17
• Next Challenge Dungeon themed after the new Renewal Glast Heim instance will come in. This will have a couple unique rewards that we hope will bring some interest to the dungeon.

The Challenge Dungeon looks interesting! Could you give us the list of monsters in there? Last week you promised us with monsters that are not Classic so I was hoping you would've included the list.

And also, does the x2 exp/drop rate event still running in Classic or is it going away after this maint?

Classic's 1.5 event stays. the 2x Event was renewal only due to the large issue experienced friday morning where we had to roll the renewal server back about 6 hours.

While traveling on the Shinkansen, Yokoi saw a bored businessman playing with an LCD calculator by pressing the buttons. Yokoi then got the idea for a watch that doubled as a miniature game machine for killing time,^[4] and went on to create Game & Watch, a line of handheld electronic games.

He would go on to work on Donkey Kong, Mario Brothers, Kid Icarus, Metroid and many others while championing a young designer named Shigeru Miyamoto. His most notable achievement at Nintendo is his development of the original Gameboy. His philosophy of finding new and innovative uses for less powerful but cheap hardware is ingrained at the heard of Nintendo even today.

New Challenge Dungeon coming next week, based off of monsters and maps from the Glastheim Instance recently added on Renewal. The Challenge Dungeon is our way of introducing previously unavailable content onto Classic, and will change every month. 

The stats and skills of the monsters will be pre-renewal.

It doesnt even feel like its 1.5x drops! Sigh!

Is there somewhere an overview about all these special events? Like a description what Boxter is good for and what Challenge Dungeons there are? Also sometimes I see an announcement ingame that a certain region is currently an event region with increased exp, can I read that up somewhere without having to wait for an announcement that only comes every few hours?

Unless something changed, I imagine they (Still) can't implement this.

They should seriously look at the Economy creep and maybe ... consider closing some castles and #nerfguardians

Hey there! For the boxter page, that is something that we should do, for challenge dungeons there will be an update page about that on the playragnarok website soon. 

spotlights don't change week to week; you should see it in the patcher or on the main site as well.

Are you sure about that? The last spotlight on the main site is "Amatsu", but the announcement ingame said "Comodo".

guess website isn't updated.  the patcher has been up to date, at least on the renewal side.

Please implement potting quality of life NPCs.

+ Medicine Bowl Vendor in Mail Annex; PLEASE let us buy as many as possible instead of 2,000 at each time, we need 30,000

+ White Potions weight limit item

+ Please improve storages, let us carry more than 30,000...

Try buying White potions at 483 and getting 60,000 - 90,000 white potions. Seriously needs to be improved!

I understand that Classic is a little less important to you guys than Renewal (especially considering the DB problems you had this week) but it'd be really nice if we got a patch notes thread at a roughly similar time, if thats not possible return to month long threads and just keep the OP filled with rough ideas for your weeks.

It has also been a while since your last comments on the future plans and events, it'd be cool to see where you guys are with the training grounds revamp, what your plans are for new world/KVM. That said I'm excited about the prospect of the challenge dungeon and hope it can be something fun to do with friends.

I'd also like to support the changes to make potting easier, buying whites is easily the worst part about getting ready to go and probably the one issue you should address before doing anything else.

Also fix biolabs please, was in there a week or two ago trying to look for some instant spawns (not wizards) after maintenance and had some troubles, who knows what the spawns actually look like there anymore.

And finally my favourite complaint, please can we find a good use for the slotted pre-trans gear from castle treasure yet?
