Not sure if this is the right section but..can we bring back the old colo Battle State the whole round?

With this Battle On and Off, sins just hide after every kill and just kinda takes out rouges what should be doing ya?
And this doesnt just affect sins or rouges, but every class can pretty much use teh DayR buff foods while on Battle end too. 

With sins having imba damage, hide and kill and wait till the last second. Such quality PVP. Im also playing a sin and i find this very

annoying, colo should be all out PVP not hide and seek for heaven's sake.  

 

Please FIX this!

I fear no one in colo since i discover buff item iii and rice cakes works in colo :3

Anyways im not talking about those buff that you are talking about.

Im talking about the stealth that shouldnt be used on and off while the round is still going.

 

Any response from WP/Gravity would be nice.

You left out: "exploit bugged areas to receive no damage"

+1 to limiting stealth (removing it completely might be a bit too much, I dunno). It's stupidly boring when the routine described above happens every single time.

+1 to removing Title buffs, items buffs, Dayr food, Explorer's Purple pots (80% heal every 10 sec is too much).

I don't think WP can say much more than we can (and Gravity doesn't really check forums afaik). But we keep track of all the feedback being posted in forums and forward it in our reports. 

 

I hope this can be adressed at some point by the devs because even I as a sin, don't really like that "hide and wait" strategy. I think the fact that we can re-hide when resu'd should be enough.

 

Of course I agree on the buffs and potions concern as well :/

Oh yes.
Everything from the outside shouldnt be allowed inside. Even other classes buffs. And yeah title buffs are a big thing too specially with BT.

Battle Tactis is useless in Colo since in that we have more or less 4% crit.

So your taking offense from it now?
Please. Stating BT being useless in colo is totally incorrect in the first place. Just ask any knight/warrior if they dont benefit or feel thats its useless.
Also if you are a knight from the longest time, you should know this fact. I dont know why you are saying its useless. And you were bragging about the rice cake buffs etc before, those things gives int and other stuff.

Also, this is not what i want to talk about. Since its "Stealth in Colo" issue so yeah. I dont need to explain or prove myself to you.

And if youre gonna say and im only saying this because i dont know, that is not the case coz i have both warrior and knight in max level. So yes i know what im saying, and Battle Tactics is not what you say it is even with low crit rate.

We could make a full post about it, but to keep it concise, Mark of Genocide + Pump it Up Hard Pills = 10 + 5 = Additional 15% Crit Rate available to any class. That's no even counting all the OP buffs available now.

With just the Grand Heart title we were saying is unfair, you get an additional 160 Int, +64% Crit Damage from BT. I'm not even gonna mention the various OP buffs you were bragging about.

One of these days, you're going to need to accept that Battle Tactics is broken (along with many, many other things).

Anyway since before one was able to rehide after dying, but yeah I notice now we can hide after killing someone... the puppy

I think that was bug a bug that never got addressed( as usual..nothing new ) where you spam hide after dying. Coz early colos it was all straight royal rumble PvP. Only rouges can hide during the rounds, but now even rangers and sins can hide anytime 24/7 as long as they get far enough to get out of battle.

Yup I took it as an offense sorry if i misunderstood you.  And yes I Still think BT in colo is useless compared to the 2X hide damage, priests dots, and bear healing skills all things that don't need buff items to archieve. Unless i crit on the right moment BT will be useless, virtually i can lose all the duels because i crit in the wrong moment or i never crit instead a bear will always have his crazy hp and def, priests will always have their blessing water ready and sins will always have their 2x damage out of hide. My proves are the amount of Knights that reach the final level in Colo.

We all agree that the 1 shotting problems is maybe the most important in PVP  and the new runes (that lack of VIT) just make this even worst.

Nerf battle tactis isn't a reason since BT was already nerfed 4 times until now so maybe it's the time to rethink it? But if we rethink BT maybe is time to rethink also the 2X damage out of hide the def per vit on bears and so on?

I think you are pointing another kind of bug (?) the fact that sometimes skills with multiple hits tend to crit on all them hits and some time crit only one or 2 of them. About the value itself seems a bit too high but i think it can be reached with party buff, buff items hard pils rice cakes and so on, at the same time is not so op since i was killed on colo by a monk that gave me 34k damage. Said that i don't mean it's not still too much since in colo except for bears normal not buffed players has around 20k HP.

ikr what it's not a bug lol

all monk skills damage sucks on colo, only GFist deal good (oneshot unfortunately) damage

and bears pretty killable on colo since they doesn't have that high def or\and dmg reduction skills like knights\monks\sins

but well, sins\rogues broken coz stupid penetration buffs

try to go with any cloth-gear class and see how warrior do 18k Battle Leap on you and 30-40k Rage Strike after, or knight slowdown you with 8k dmg, stun you from 20m, knockdown with almost the same damage, and kill you with 30-75k damage overall

but well rouge can do ~30-50k MD from hide or sin 15-40k Grimtooth\Cross Impact and monk 26-80k GFist

just chainstuns is annoying, especially for cloth armor users

You claimed BT was useless and challenged us to prove to you that it's not. I just stated the evidence that it's not useless and can easily be made strong enough to make a difference when you factor in the things available to everyone. It becomes a reliable source of damage and everyone else can see that. If it doesn't work to your advantage (it doesn't crit when you want it to as you state), it doesn't mean the skill itself is useless as you stated.

I have seen many knights in last round, I've seen many knights win too, maybe less than assassins, but they are still capable of reliably winning. Maybe if you can't do it, you just need to rethink your strategies. No one here is saying that only BT is broken, of course there are many other skills that don't translate well into a fair colo environment.

This topic has been derailed enough, go back to focusing on the topic about Stealth. The topic starter wants opinions on whether or not Stealth should stay the way it is currently.

Stealth should go. Its not fair for a sin to run away pot, pop some cooldowns and then they can rehide again. Colo is there for a reason and no class should be able to hide. As for P2W yes that needs to be removed to The following items should be removed or atleast prevented from being used in colo AND in pvp areas in general

Pump it up hard pillz

Kafra pots Def+attack+ ect

EXPLORER PURPLE POT MUST GO

Costume of the month buff

that new buff item pot? (then again everybody can get these)

????

As a pvp fanatic i quit Colo a long time ago cuz Lol balance, and if i do go to colo i usualy wear full pvp gear to "try to balance my self" 

 

TL;DR

Remove p2w

Remove re hide.

We can push to have a colosseum where only potions bought inside works and nothing else.
No more buff items, titles and party buff only your own skill buff.
In this way we would level the forces, also if imbalance would still exist.
After that would be nice to wear all the same gears in colo as is in woe map to avoid or at last make more difficult premades. For example in colo we could wear all a grey version of colo gears or the t1 or t2 version of colo gears if we have it and only colo gears will have working buffs in colo.
I would also suggest to not allow players to go in the rooms when the roud start. Lets all go back to the way more balanced (but not perfect) lotr colo.
Said this returning on topic i think the best thing is to allow stealt players to hide when the round start and when resu.

hide should be able to use when "round begins" and when the players dies and resu.

 

the problem is the damages from si which are basically op.
