I would like to take a moment to remember Diane Disney Miller, daughter of Walt who passed away at the age of 79 this last week. It was during one of the childhood trips with Diane and her sister Sharon to Griffith Park that her father struck on the idea of building a theme park. Due to the danger of a copycat of the famous Lindberg Baby kidnapping, her parents took great care to keep the sisters out of the spotlight. As an adult, she was responsible for spearheading efforts to build the Frank Gehry designed Disney Concert Hall in Downtown L.A.  as well as co-founding the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco.

Also being remembered today is legendary car salesman Cal Worthington, who was born on the 27th in 1920. A southern California Icon, you'd be hard pressed to have grown up in Los Angeles and not remember his quirky car ads. Born into poverty in pre-Dust Bowl Oaklahoma, he was named after the President Calvin Coolidge. A grade school dropout, he became a military aviator in World War II and flew over 20 missions in a B-17 Flying Fortress earning a Distinguished Flying Cross. Several of the airmen he trained would go on to greater fame as astronauts. 

 

Though he wanted to continue a career in aviation, he couldn't afford to go to college. Starting out selling used cars in Texas, he found great success when he moved to Huntington Park, CA. The ads he ran until his passing this September are about as memorable to late night TV watching Californians as Crazy Gideon (a seller of terrible knock off electronics with some amazing ads) are the epitome of folksy charm second only to Huell Howser.

 

We remember both of them today, ah also it's Bill Nye's birthday too!

We need spotlight exp/spawn/drops on all maps for the partial server restart earlier this week. No excuse for that kind of downtime, compensation is in order.

Seems like the absolute best course of action to me.

If the Inubashiri headgears are leaving...does that mean that they will be implemented as quests rewards ingame (and the intended, corresponding accesories too?)

how are they gonna feel when all the exp events are over and they still need to level.... poor things will be crying themselves to sleep at night

so overdramatic. no new player is going to get to 150 in 2-3 weeks. it takes a long time to level to 150. not everyone is popping bmx3s and resetting their tis the entire ride there

Jump event, VIP event and a 1.5x server event is too weak for you? May I direct you to a super high rate pserver for you to be spoon fed on?

1.5 had almost no effect on leveling whatsoever. not everyone is vip. and the jump event was only for non trans classes, and barely made a difference in grinding (it did however stick out on quest turn ins)

 

 

im not seeing how mindless grind is spoon feeding. youre extreme overreactions are hilarious though

my point still stands. the 80% of players playing this game that dont have vip dont feel the effect of these events whatsoever. so people bitching that theres too many of them is almost laughable. VIP people are paying to be spoonfed and then complaining about it. its obnoxious and your vip status has no effect on what other people are doing

 

and yes i do have vip, but i have multiple accounts so i feel the pain that the average player plays when im not on my main account
