Can Super Novice get Eden Mace? i automaticlly get Eden Dagger ... OTL
also which is better Eden Equipment or Angelic set?

You should check the post I made, you can find lots of information regarding basic gear from some users. HERE

Now for your question:

I dont' know if you can get the mace but I think you should stay with the Eden Dagger because it lets you use Double Attack. And for the gear I think the Angelic Set is slightly better than Eden.

For Angelic Set this is what you get with all of the items equipped:
SP Recovery + 3%
Maximum HP + 100
HP Recovery + 5%
Reduce 5% damage from Demon monster.
MDEF + 20
-Set effect if you wear all the pieces-
Maximum HP + 900, Maximum SP + 100
Add a 3% chance of auto casting Level 1 Assumptio on the user when the user receives Physical Damage.

You get 1k of HP if you wear the whole set but that means you have to use a shield and thus giving away some ASPD. If you ditch the shield I suggest you to get the vendor SN set(if you can put some cards) since it gives better stats for only 3 pieces (if you ditch the shield)

Super Novice Set (3 pieces w/o shield):
Maximum HP + 5%
All Stats + 1
Reduce 10% of Neutral Property damage.

That's the Hat, Boots and Manteau. You can keep the Angelic Protection from the Angelic Set. The hat from the vendor doesn't have slot but you can get a Super Novice Hat [1] from Holden with a 0.5% chance.

So in conclusion I think for melee SN:

Carded SN set > Angelic Set > Eden Set

in addition to what Niquify already said, I can give you a Angelic Guard [1] and a Super Novice Hat [1] for free if you are interested in it.


As for the Eden quest, my SN always got the Eden Dagger, so I would assume you won't be able to get the Mace, at least not until you do the lvl 60 Eden Gear quest.
