For a DPS build int/agi works. You do give up raw AP from the higher str on accessorys and runes but the crit damage makes up for it as you crit chance raises.
Granted it's an all or nothing setup since you need to raise crit chance up to at least 20% but it does work.

As a tank though? Pointless. Theres no acc with int/agi + tank stats. It's only the early str/int and later str/agi stuff with tanks stats. With battle tatics you'd just be getting some INT from combo of cards+bonus stats+title. It gives a slight edge to your tank threat but you can't build an int/agi tank without losing that extra dodge/parry. Not worth it.

If Aura Heal been good i probely put rest in there...

Yes i do colusum but only for the gear...

Get battle tactics then, even if you're not dps build you can still get some use from it.

I agree with Rollchan, use Battle tactics even not a DPS build, since most of cards that you'll use will give atleast a little amount of INT, and that's 6x5=30/8x5=40 For Scratch thief Cards(Normal+).

there is no acc that gives agility period. doesn't mean int/agi is useless because of that. If you're saying there's no acc that give int + tank stats, you're completely wrong.

You're right, actually there are some that give AGI, tho the only ones i've seen IN GAME are the pvp ones. None that are dropped have i seen that give AGI but i could be wrong.

As far as Int+ tank look up Earring/Necklace of Mercy. Sure there are others but i actually have those equipped in game.

Oh, you're right. It looks like those accessories are specialised for Monks. I wonder if there are raid level accessories we haven't seen that are similar.

Early accessories are all str/int. Once we get past Bapho/Arena things get upgraded and changed. While colo is the only source of them atm, all the acc change to a str/agi(dex) or int/agi mix.

Colo example:http://www.gaming-ba...e-rush-necklace
Lesser PvE version: http://www.gaming-ba...rtuous-heritage
Equal to colo PvE: http://www.gaming-ba...s-echo-necklace
Followed by awesome top end: http://www.gaming-ba...y-echo-necklace

Since we're missing CoA/AoD atm you can't get theses yet. But stat wise its a big jump, Either str or int version will make up for the str/int low end for monks. Looking thru I found no int/agi+tank stat. So unless something changes when we get the next raids, the statement I said eailer remains true.

If you're pushing progression then every last bit of parry/evade/agi/str for tanks is going to add up. Making an int/agi+tank acc would be weird since only the monk can benefit from both naturally. Bears wouldn't touch it and warrior/knight can't make use it without battle tatics.

At some point you could use them for a threat build but that be kinda silly cause at that point you'd also out gear the encounter and wouldn't need the extra parry from str. So you'd have plenty of threat anyway.

if you're talking about progression then no, not every last bit of parry/evade/agi/str is going to add up for tanks. -_- is easy. you're not gonna lose to an encounter because tank died or was taking to much dmg for healers to keep raid up, its going to be because people-_- up on the strategy or maybe ur dps don't have enough dps. Current raids(bapho and pve arena) are pretty much trivialized due to colo gear is better than CoA normal which isn't even out yet. so just because there isn't an int/agi+tank stat acc doesn't mean the str/int+tank stat accs aren't worth using for battle tactics users.

And every knight should be taking battle tactics regardless cause when talking form a tanking perspective, there's nothing better to spend those 3 points on to get to battle tactics. Warriors are more strapped for points however so you may be right on that for warriors.

Great Guide Rollchan. I was thinking of using your personal build and i was trying to put the skill points into what you said, does this look right to you?

http://ro2base.com/b...1.1.1/0.0.0.0.0

I'm planning to tank, while playing Coloseum sometimes on and off for the gear, I wasn't sure about some of the skills since some of them you never said about leaving them at level 1 or maxing.

How should i go about distributing stats and skills first? Should i go full strength and once it gets to 40/41 put it into agi, should i level them evenly, or would leveling them evenly leave me with less str.

Skills, should i try to max out some first, like bash, battle order, aura armor, etc?

You can allocate your stats anyway you want, but it's recommended to pump your STR first then your secondary stat. It makes grinding the early levels alot faster, trust me.

For skills, get your attack skills up first, again making the grinding alittle faster. What I did was Bash -> Aura Strike -> Aura Armor and then Battle order. By that time, you'll be ready for your first dungeon at wolves cave and you could tank with no problems.

build is good so far, i'd take out point in battle tactics. thats a lvl 50 thing. so make that be your last 2 points. cause you won't get much out of it with lvl 1-49 gear. still got 7 points left but you have everything you need for tanking(just max out shield aura, which honestly i'd max out shield aura before shield fortress, you don't use shield fortress all that much compared to shield aura)

So basically i should raise my main swordsman attack skills first, then go for Aura Armor?

I won't be using Battle Tactics at all until Level 50? So i should probably just skip putting a point into Magnum break for now, or will i be using that quite a bit? Ok then. So once i hit Level 25 and become a knight, i should try and max Aura Shield first? Just want to make sure you mean Aura Shield, i realize the words are merely just switched around and this is most likely a really obvious answer, just want to make sure.

It's what I did. Made grinding the early levels easier. Just make sure you have Aura Armor maxed out by the time you've reached Wolves cave and you'll be set.

yea, you wont have barely any int while leveling up so battle tactics won't be that much help. you can keep the point in magnum break since that'll help aoe tanking in the low lvls till you get grand cross, also if you wanted you could alternate magnum break and grand cross to make sure you keep aggro while aoe tanking(since magnum break has an increase threat effect on it that grand cross does not have).

basically what you want right at 25 knight is 1 point shield fortress, 1 point in shield bash.(this requires you to have 0 in battle tactics and 1 in battle order). from here, you can go one of 2 paths. get and max shield cannon for easier leveling, or max aura shield(the 1min def cooldown you have) then max shield cannon. and from there just finish your build however you want.

in my opnion, skills that can wait till later to level. Battle Tactics - as i said let this be the last thing you level. Battle Order, only gives 10% str so until your str gets up there in number, really doesn't help all that much. Shield Fortress, don't really need this till RHDs and raids really.

Ah, so i should start saving points then. Currently at level 17. I'll put one in Magnum break next level, then save the rest of my skill points until i reach knight. Thanks for the help on the build, i really appreciate it.

I tried following the TC and sephiroso's advice, and this is my current Knight build at level 25, i don't think i messed anything up.

http://ro2base.com/b...1.1.1/0.0.0.0.0

Now my problem is, i have no clue how i should use my newly aquired skills lol. I know that i'm going for a tank so i should try and keep my threat up in dungeons and parties so the enemies go for me more. Should i use all the knight skills i have at level 1 currently? Should i only use a few? I have no real idea how to use my new skills, I don't really want to-_- up my party and stuff during dungeons and raids

From my experience, you only really need to use Bash x3 -> Aura Strike Combo to hold threat on a single target, that should be plenty enough to hold it on you. Grand Cross is for holding multiple mobs around 3 and above. Spam it until there's only 2 left, then just take them out normally. Honestly, I haven't used Aura shield or Shield fortress yet, I heard it's not really needed at early levels, but I suppose aura shield could come in handy if you are low on HP. It'll help the healer to catch up.

Your skill build looks fine though, you should be able to tank dungeons no problem.

I cut my rotation short on my knight. Bash x2 > Aura Strike, repeat. It gave me more dps overall, and more threat as a result. I dropped Shield Cannon all together, and I don't miss it one bit.
