Well - you'll still have to spend some money on equips, friend. I don't know if you still have some of your old gears, but if you're anything like me, you'll have discovered that most of them are now meaningless and that inflation has caused what little cash you had on hand, to be equally trivial.

There's good news, though. The Eden Quests (that is to say, the quests you can do within the Eden Group location, accessed by talking to the pointy-eared green Novice-girl) will help you on your way, doing these quests will net you some very decent gear for your characters. It's not end-game material, but it'll help you close the gap. Then, the quests themselves give you a lot of EXP, meaning you won't have to grind nearly as much. Finally, when you reach levels 70 and higher, you can start doing turn-ins for massive amounts of experience (and a bit of money, aside). These turn-ins also award badges which you can exchange for reset-stones; these stones fetch ~7m on the open market so you'll be able to gear up.

Good luck.

Maybe you should first stated you are going to play on Renewal or Classic. They somehow quite different.

Renewal celebrates the new content whenever kRO feels we're worthy of receiving it, Classic does not.

See, I tried to keep it non-abrasive. Originally, I was going to post something along the lines of "Classic still pretends it's 2004", but who'd benefit from that? Who, I ask you?

Watching the population die out, pretending third classes don't exist, looking back fondly on the Bush-administration, downloading those new-fangled em-pee-threes via Kazaa, ordering parts for your penny farthing over dial-up... the fun never stops, let me tell you.

Renewal is like wait for the level 1000 and if you don't up your stuff +50 with your 50k hp you can't tank some skill in woe.

Friend, it's up to you. Don't let us idiots sway you too much. Let's put it this way and be done with it: if you enjoyed the content you left behind and wish to stick to that, roll a character on Classic. If you want to see what's beyond trans-classes, roll a character on Renewal. Either way, it's free; look around and decide what you like best. The situation is never as grim as we describe it to be.

wait wait.. u have it backwards man. If your gonna play renewal, hunter is a good choice. Classic is more like ro was when you left it so you might want to pick a beefier class or play a mage class.

Both have their good and bad. I am playing on Classic so I will introduce you classic.
Or, you could try both, and choose after you played on both of them? XD

Renewal celebrates the new content whenever we feed kRO enough moneyz *kRO feels we're worthy of receiving it *, Classic does not.

Classics downfall is the population is not going up at all, or very very slowly. Magic stone is a must so you will have to spend 5mil on the item, or 1$ in kafra shop to get it to job change.

Renewals downfall is you're so far behind it's pointless. You need to spend irl money to even attempt to catch up somewhat, and it's highly gear reliant since everyone and their mothers have +500 items with 30k supplies.

Both have bots, both have their cheaters.

Only positive i'd say renewal has is people active in South pront. Other than that, i'd say go classic. You can always hit me up on, "David Allan Coe", or "Butt Trumpet". I have a 70 priest I wouldn't mind leveling!
