point is, as long time player, I actually fully expected the effects would not stack, and knowing they would not, saw no point in bringing the lower gear if I was planning to use the HE gum. On top of that, I expected that the worse effect overwriting the good one was a POSSIBILITY, and since the two would not stack, taking such a risk was pointless.

Adrenaline Rush is the Battle Blacksmiths best friend. This skill increases the ASPD of Axe and Mace class weapons across the entire party. It gives a 0.30 delay decrease to ASPD to Blacksmiths and a 0.25 delay decrease to all other job classes that have an Axe or Mace class weapon equipped at the time.

 

 

 

So is it 25% to party members and 30% to the caster or 30% to Blacksmiths and 25% to non-blacksmiths?

I believe my battle priest has used the Kafra scrolls and got one aspd value, and when party blacksmiths did theirs, my aspd went down.
