I admit when I saw that drawing I felt like I saw it before.

After google search it I found it on deviant art.

I honestly do believe this is an old drawing and wasn't made for this contest but if it is true that your friend made it for you, is it fair to get a win for something someoneelse else did for you?

 

Anyway if you won legit congratz for that piece of art.

The art was made into that after the contest got announced. We made it look like RO2's Baphomet. And like I said it's a collab, we made it together. I believe there is nothing wrong with both of us working together.

it just feels meh that someone is winning something that wasn't completely their work. when others made pieces themselves and used their own means vs getting someone else to do it and you just said what you wanted in it. even if it was collab or not

Rules:

-Use a monster or NPC you can find in Ragnarok 2
-You may submit more than once, but only one prize per account; Images have be submitted by 10/28, which is when the Facebook album will be made with all the images.
-Voting lasts until 10/30. Winners announced on the 31st.
-Please post entries via a Facebook message or in the forum thread
-Has to be appropriate for all ages

-Pictures that have already been submitted for a WP contest will not be eligible, with the exception of the Halloween loading screens for the bonus.

 

 

So anyone want to explain to me where in the rules it says that only ONE person can work on a piece of art to be submitted in this contest? And who can really say if every single entry made their pieces themselves? The possibility is always there that somebody had a friend do their submission for them or they did a collab. It just so happens that FluffyGoaty is the only one that owned up to it.

 

If you guys really want to raise your pitchforks, send the owner of that Deviant Art a message and ask about the picture. I'm sure they'll tell you whether or not it's true.

I agree. It's not mentioned in the rules that you have to do it alone. I don't see any problems about asking someone for help.

 

If you are still not satisfied with that. Just like Fierce posted above, you are free to contact the owner of the Deviant art.

 

Tired of all this QQ. I've heard people on RC's QQing about how I won. I mean really QQing about a contest? What's left on not to QQ about?

 

Some of these people aren't even part of the contest, I don't see why they would go as far as to Google search my entry.

It's actually pretty common to do google searches for entries of art type contests. Cause there are lazybutts out there that like art theft.

 

Also.... most contests I've participated in usually add a rule that the art must be a NEW piece created specifically for the contest to prevent this type of mishap.

 

Maybe the GM should think about adding this rule to prevent this kind of drama in the future...

 

 

Personally I don't see what everyone is bitching about... atleast your piece was decently done... some of these other winner choices on the other hand.... very questionable to me
