The average 1 econ fort drops about 20 of each ygg per week, a 100 econ fort drops about 80 on average in a week.  300 seems like an exaggeration.  Also, I believe the suggestion wasn't to replace slotted gears entirely, but to replace 1 of the drop slots in each fort that currently drops slotted gears with some kind of drop that is immediately useful to people that would take up less storage space for guild leaders.  For example, in one fort they could replace chain mails with something, in the next fort in the realm shoes, the next fort manteaus, the next fort silk robes... etc.

 

I also agree that the slotted gears dropping are necessary for new players, but I'm not sure they need to drop in such quantities that people don't even want to vend them.  I also think that supply boxes would not be the best way to go with the drop replacement, but I'm sure that there must be an in demand item for which the market wouldn't be significantly impacted if some dropped from the forts, which is probably why most people think of seeds and berries, since the market for those likely wouldn't be significantly impacted if slightly more quantities of them dropped from treasures.

You are acting under the assumption that most forts are 1 econ.

 

they are not.

 

Most guilds get multiple forts!

On a side note, I get like 300 berries a week from castle drops, how many do you people need? Jesus. lol.

 

 

I've never got 300 berries in one week.

 

More yggs seeds/berries would be nice, botted market anyways - as someone stated earlier.

So just a question as I know this was removed a while ago but why was Poring Wars removed? 

 

Now that we are further in the server can it be put back in. There are some things I wouldn't mind obtaining from it.

Now that we are further in the server can it be put back in. There are some things I wouldn't mind obtaining from it.

 

bot farmers are the reason we can't have nice things. VH used to do poring wars as guild events all the time (to farm tribals for recall at the start of the server) and we happened across a few bot farms and then Poring wars got removed.

Well isn't someone being a negative Nancy. On another note, could we please do something maybe about abrasives or mental potions being tradable? Have you ever thought about cards being turned in to OCAs at a 4:1 or 5:1 ratio as well? there are a lot of cards that sit in my storage just simply because they arent worth vending. It would raise the price of cards in general and help keep the market a little more alive in my opinion. Being that a lot of guild members have storages practicly full of gear that they don't use, maybe you can modify the drops into something a little more worthwhile? I think custom castle drops would make this server a little more intriguing since there are very few guilds that feel econing a castle because the lack of rewards vs casting behind a portal. It would be nice to actually gear characters with the loots that you can get from a castle, for instance something like a CK with considerably low drop rates. It's just an example, but I think it would be something to look into.

Replacing some gears with useful stuff is a double win for guild leaders. I don't think they should drop something that real people are farming though (Supplies boxes). If you can play 2 hours a week in woe and get boxes, why hunt in the guild dungeon? It WOULD make people play less. My suggestion is making eluniums more available to guild leaders (Not bots!). If more eluniums dropped from treasure boxes we could upgrade our slotted gears. Breaking them creates more space, and the few that don't break will be worth more.

Tbit used to do P wars to, I didn't know it was taken out because of bots! T__T

Couldn't there be easier ways to fix bot issues in p wars? like making angeling and deviling stronger? or making the unions of tribe account bound?
And if they can bot p wars, wouldn't botting be just as easy in BGs?

I can't say more elus is appealing either; you would have to have soooooooo many elus to drop to make upgrading the trashslotloot worth it and even then I don't see that being worthwhile?

 

I just think we should be able to turn in the slot gear for points or something or just trade them up for real gear!
