Are you wearing an orleans gown or phen? If so, remove them - those add +% cast time, so you'd end up with -101% cast + 15% cast = -86% cast time with orleans, -76% with phen, for 14% and 24% of normal cast time, respectively. 

 

If you put the phen card into your spell 33 RWC pendant, you've wasted your spell33 RWC pendant; make a new one.

I just noticed that even if I have 193 aspd and no-cast CC, I still can't spam CC unless I have kiel cards or got secra/magic strings.

At the suggestion of kasshin, I'm going to post a question I PM'd him along with his response. I hope it's useful and feel free to add your thoughts

 

 

With the mesmer being in right now, I'm giving serious thought to changing my build up a little bit to get 120 dex earlier + temp dex boots. I have a good amount of cast reduc gear (+9 cod (no kk), +9 FAW 3x spell, 2x spell3 rwc's) but not quite enough to instacast. Originally, I didnt plan on having access to a +9 FAW but I now have one, so my current build was more for HBP.

 

Base 104

STR 90

VIT 38 (Would round this out to 40 at 105)

INT 72

DEX 79

LUK 1

 

but I could respec to

 

Base 104

STR 40

VIT 40

INT 80

DEX 105

LUK 1

 

Ive tried using Azzy's calculator to see damage differences, but the numbers that it spits out don't seem right. With the respec'd build, I'd be able to have 120 dex at base 119, pretty early. The build I've got now would take until level 131.

 

My question is, is it worth it to do this? Would you respec differently? What other things should I consider? I've tried to do a lot of the legwork myself but feel a bit lost here. 

 

 

 

 

120 DEX is more of an endgame / MVP thing. But most genetics will be fine at most MVPs around level ~130 already. So you can plan for that.

You will probably want ~90 STR and INT for leveling purposes, or else your CC will suffer. VIT needs to be pretty high (60+) for survivability too.

Your current build looks okay to me except for the VIT, but you can pump that in the next few levels.

Basically, don't go for 120 DEX until much later unless you are planning to MVP a lot at a low level (~110) and/or have a friend to help tank many MVPs for you.

Sorry for this stupid question..
for Acid Bomber build..
I got a +9 Crown of Deceit and +9 Airship Captain's Hat..
I just got hold of a Kathryn Keyron Card.. I just wanna humbly ask if which one of the aforementioned is far better to card it with the KK card?

I know its a long shot to get a Kiel-D Card but is Kiel better than KK? on which Headgear?

KK is useless since you can achieve instacast with stats and KK effect dont stack with stats reduction if you need at lower lvs to achieve better Cart Cannon cast you should put it on Crown to be easier to sell afterwards but for acid bomb wont do anything at all cause its completely fixed cast.

Cast reduction is not useful for using Acid Bomb. 

 

KK card is for cast reduction - it should go in the CoD to make a cast reduction headgear that is useful for CC and resellable. The Airship captain hat has no synergy.

When equipping temporal dex boots, is it necessary to have 121 dex to get the reduced 0.5 fixed casting delay or just 120?

Depends which temporal boots effect you're talking about. Runway Magic (the INT one), no it does not, you need magic to proc that (demonic fire works).

for cart cannon damage the best is to proc runaway with demonic fire, cause bear's power only procs when you're being hit, otherwise the only enchant that procs through cart cannon is lucky day (the others just suck so not worth mentioning)

Questions:

 

1. Currently, the RWC rally box is not available in the Cash shop. What can be my alternative accesories?I can't have orlean glove set because I'm using HF as a weapon.

2. Do you still change your iron ball to other different elemental balls depending on the mvp or are you just sticking to one kind of ball?

3. Because of the non availability of the rwc pendants, is the cast of cart cannon interruptible?

4. If i will get +9 temporal boots STR, will it increase my AB/CC damage significantly?If not, is it ok to go for VIT temporal?(I need the sp4)

1. Buy an RWC rally box from another player.

2. Of course - the damage modifiers from elemental cannon balls are larger than you would expect from the math, as the modifier is applied twice to part of the damage. 

3. It's always interruptible, unless you're instant cast (at which point it's irrelevant whether it's interruptible as there's no time in which to interrupt it). Use orleans gown when you're not instant casting.

Sprint Ring is sort of decent as an alternative to the RWC pendant. Tradeable too.

@drazzy - Thank you very much sir.btw im using your genetic calculator. Is it normal to have a CC damage with just 25k - 30k range?

 

@kasshin - oh yeah sprint ring, but will the reduced cast delay affect my CC delay? I think it doesn't have delay but it has cooldown? it is very confusing thanks

Yeah average CC damage varies on equipment but high damage is noticeable trough elemental modifiers (like holy ball in shadow 4 monsters).

Cart Cannon does have 0.5s delay so it would affect it but i dont see much problem in 5%

if my average damage of CC is 25k using drazzy's calculator, is it weak? 28k using HF, 25k using erde. no foods and buffs. most of the items are for reducing variabler cast

In regular PVM situations the extra 5% delay is a non-issue. If you're wearing Kiels or are in strings, then the 5% means a lot, especially if wearing two (adds up to 10%). It's all about what you're stacking and what you're aiming for. CC delay is pretty short in the first place (0.5 sec) but when you're aiming for ultimate DPS with Mjolnir's DEX for the cast time and double megs, that 0.5 sec cast delay does become your limit and that's why really high end rich players will then opt to use Kiels as well. They might also get some AGI to help with the ASPD animation delay as well. I think if you're asking questions here you probably don't belong to this type of audience / player type.
